Perkins seems to be the go to standard that we go to for comfort food and service. Others have closed their doors for lack of... workers. Elk River location is still here and I hope for a long time. Perkins is always a nice spot to eat for the family. It isn't my favorite place to go but my family likes it so we go. Nice atmosphere. Family friendly. They have changed their menu. I was disappointed that the removed the French Dip. They have... day and evening menus, even though many remember Perkins as Pancake House you won't see many pancakes on the evening menu, soask for the breakfast menu. I'm not sure why they are parting from their staple breakfasts. Well I ordered online and wasexcited to see the French Dip back. However. I was not impressed. It was not worth the price. I'm not sure anything on the menuis worth the price. I was a bit concerned when my order was completely ready to go 5 minutes before pick up time, rightfullyso. All of our food was room temperature when I opened the bag 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant. Except for the thawingFrench fries mixed in with my fried fries.
