My husband and I tried this place two days ago and the food was phenomenal. So today we returned there to have dinner again and... try something new. I ordered medium size gizzards. They were deepfried, overcooked and very rubbery, it took me hours to chewon them and was near impossible to swallow. I went to the cashier and politely shared my concerns, he looked lost, like it washis first day there. I offered to order a new meal and I would pay the difference to make it right since he doesn't have anyproblem solving skills. The cook came out and started yelling at me! This is inappropriate! I know I am not an entitled person,but a regular customer that wants to get quality I pay for! So I left the box with the gizzards to the cashier and left! By theway, we paid over $40 for our order and about $50 last time, if the food and service are good we don't pinch our money. We willnever return there anymore and will tell everybody we know about our bad experience! Read more
When you're up in South Bend for a Notre Dame game make sure you stop by Lucky's. They have some excellent Thai food for a very... reasonable price. From what I'm hearing if the Grandmother is there cooking you will be in for a treat as she is one of the bestcooks there not saying that there aren't any other great cooks, and after today's experience I've had I have nothing bad to sayabout them what so ever and will be a returning customer when I'm up there. Great food at a great price. Lucky is the best... he takes pride in his work and it shows. Last time I was here, there was a... sign on the door saying they no longer serve donuts, so there's that, however, I never visited with the intention to buy a donutso no biggy as far as I'm concerned. So far I've enjoyed the governor's chicken, shrimp pad Thai, and beef and broccoli, all ofwhich are excellent! Read more
Got their wings today and they were all drummies that looked like from KFC and the orange chicken was extremely dry and... overcooked. Disappointed used to be great food. Read more
