When you go out, it is something you look forward to because it is something you do frugally. And you are excited to try a new... place that has gotten decent reviews. Sadly, this was not our experience at Per Bacco. The place holds at the most maybe 100people. You would think you could make sure you are able to supply a steady amount of silverware. We kept getting the excusethat they were all being washed. Did that mean we couldn?t at least have a napkin or two? People that came in after us gotnapkins and silverware AND bread. Yet we sat without anything. The menu stated that they had to reduce their menu fare and thatprices were subject to change without notice. The food was ok. Not anything to write home about. Our server took our card to runit for our bill only to stop and bus a table before doing so. At that point the place was almost cleared out as it was almostclosing time so no need to do that first. There was a $2.50 up charge for a dinner salad. Got charged $3.50. Guess that was theprice change without notice. Then, the clincher was that we were charged a fee for using our debit card without notice. Not apleasant experience. I?m sure it?s nothing they care about anyway. Read more
Amazing place, love the atmosphere inside. The staff are friendly and the food is amazing. You need to try the bacca shrimp.... Absolute best! I do wish there were some more options on the menu but overall great experience! Read more
We've eaten here twice and had something that was a Special each time, which I highly recommend. The desserts are great, and... portions on the cakes are shocking! I suggest making a reservation and know that parking can be tight, so the fewer vehicles inyour party the better. Great lasagna, and gnocchi! And Italian beer, Peroni, is on tap. Read more

This place is so disappointing. I came as a close friend of a group and left with so dissatisfaction. This restaurant greatly... overcharged for the food that they served. Their proportions that were meant to serve at least 20 people were pathetically smalland couldn?t even serve 7-10 people. Not only were we overcharged for the ridiculously small and non filling proportions, thefood was also below average and nothing worth the money we paid. The recipes came out to a total of $1,300 for 4 plates of food(two pastas, salad, and chicken) that didn?t even feed all the guests. In addition to the horrible food, the service washorrendous. As our group was there after a funeral and our server knew, she pretended to be empathetic and understanding.However the reality is disgusting, the truth is that she took an advantage of the large amount of people when she was servingdesserts. She kept on saying, ?I have extra dessert in the back if you guys need more.? Of course the wording of this leadspeople to believe that the desert in the back is already accounted for as part of the meal, but this was not the case. For everyperson that got ?extras? that were in the back, an extra $8 were charged per piece. This behavior is utterly disgusting and ourserver was horrible for pretending to be sympathetic and care. In addition, our server knew that we were not from Indiana,meaning she would know that we wouldn?t be aware of the extra charge when using a credit card. Yet with knowing suchinformation, she failed to mention that there was a charge for using a credit card and didn?t even mention that we could?ve usedcash which would?ve saved us even more money.
