Unlike any other place in elkhart. Feels big city with great menu and prices! Bartenders are trained and super nice!
I chose the Signature Well-crafted burger with avocado and jalapeno relish, paired with the California Lover signature drink.... This may be my new favorite burger and drink pairing. The burger was served on a gluten-free bun, and the server let us knowthat it had all been prepared in a gluten-free area. The bar was busy, but not overcrowded by any means. We were seated rightaway, and the atmosphere was conducive to conversation. We enjoyed strolling the lobby and seeing the nods to the Elkhartculture and history, and the gallery of artwork on loan from the Midwest Museum of Art. This is a fantastic addition to thedowntown Elkhart scene, and we plan to return. Stayed in at the Tapestry Hotel Elkhart by Hilton hotel and had a dinner with friend. Hamburger and fries were excellent; I... could tell they used fresh ingredients. I also ordered sushi nachos, and it was excellent. Ahi with Wasabi mix was fresh andtasty. Indoor deco and soft music made dining enjoyable. It is a jam, and i highly recommend this restaurant. The corner bar is a great addition to downtown Elkhart and a nice place for a meal. I recommend the tuna!
We stopped for dinner on 9/15/2022. There were 4 people at the bar and 4 seated at tables, not busy at all. The management needs... to train the staff. We understand that labor is difficult to find, however if management watched they would know the staff needstraining. Four of us waited over 20 minutes before we waived at the bartender, who was chatting with the waitress. Finally, wegot a menu and water. No drinks or anything else offered. Once we ordered we received food before silverware or napkins. Thefood was very good, the poor service continued. We would have had a second drink if we could have had any service. When we werefinished, we tried to get the waitresses attention for over 10 minutes. The A/C was running too cold to be comfortable and Ilike it around 70 degrees. We would go back for the food, but the service was so poor we will go elsewhere in the future. Ifmanagement cares they will respond to this review, and train staff. Read more
