I have loved this place since the 1st time my parents picked up a pizza here when I was a kid back in the 60's. The pizza and... the Stromboli are fantastic, some of the best I've had anywhere. First time here! I tried to create the Stranger Things S4 Vol 2 pizza here at Volcano Pizza and although I got it hot and fresh... due to choosing carry out, the pizza itself for $15 wasn?t optimal. Marinara sauce is almost absent. Portions of the toppingswere not generous and i am not a fan of square cut pizzas, didn?t know i was walking into that one i guess. Maybe they couldoffer if you?d like triangle or square?? Been eyeing this place because i live close by and i usually don?t knock it until ihave tried it, even after reading other reviews. We liked the polite service, willingness to answer questions, the fresh ingredients in the hot sandwiches, & the reasonable... prices. I ordered a Stromboli hot sandwich, which comes with melted mozzarella cheese, ground sausage, & pizza-like sauce. Irequested green pepper & onion to be added, & the Stromboli tasted excellent! My husband ordered an Italian Beef, which turnedout to be different than he expected with red pizza-like sauce instead of liquid au jus. His sandwich was too spicy for histaste.
