Nice corner spot with a good patio and decent food. Gluten free food options are available; though we got the gf options the... gluten sensitive one in the group definitely got sick from eating gluten. Overall the food was good but not amazing, and thefries were absolutely bathed in salt making them nearly inedible (sad, especially considering we had ordered an extra platter ofthem from the getgo). Beautiful atmosphere. I love the screened in porch for casual dining. Very friendly staff and fun environment. Good food.
Stopped in for a Sunday lunch. Did not meet expectations. The atmosphere was very laid back, in a negative way. Service staff... was not available to take our order. When the orders arrived, after a very long wait, the food was over cooked. The staff wasnice enough, but the whole tavern seemed to be a stepchild of whatever was going on elsewhere that day. Never been to Elkhart lake, picked it because it was a central meetup. Must not have been a busy weekend in town because... restaurant was not busy. Food was fantastic. Or I was really hungry. Or both! Chicken sandwich and fries were done toperfection, salad had quality greens, bar was fun, not expensive, we had a great time out on the porch with our dog.
