Bottom line the prices were high even though the food was okay and had large portions. Nothing sets them apart as a trademarked... food option. Their menu is very large. Read more

I can't say for the rest of the menu but we only had the italian beef and was terrible. It tasted very old meat with no flavor.... Unable to eat it. Read more

My dad used to take me here all the time for Italian beef and Turkey sandwiches. The hotdogs were really good too. Not sure... how good they are lately but back in 2002 it was dynamite! Read more

Good old school Chicago style Hot Dog Joint food! I go there often and enjoy their quality and friendly staff!

Met my daughter and her husband here in a Sunday. Not too busy, cute, clean inside! You order at the counter and then they being... the food to your table! Service was friendly and efficient! Food came out super hot & delicious, it did take a bit for them tomake our order as everything is made fresh, well worth the wait! I had the Philly cheesesteak, came loaded with peppers &onions. My husband had the Italian sausage sandwich, delicious, also loaded with onions and peppers! Had curly fries with cheesesauce, seasoned well and nice and crispy. Their waffle fries are worth the trip alone! These things were huge! An added littlebenefit, for me at least, they had uncarbonated options in their refillable soda fountain! Definitely a little hidden gem inElkhorn! We will ge back! Read more

First time trying this place and I've been wanting to for a while. Pretty disappointed. I sat in the drive thru for about a... minute or two before I said "hello?" sat for another 30 seconds or so for someone to say that they will be right with me. Then Iwaited another 5 minutes until someone came back and took my order. I get to the window, give them my card and they gave me areceipt to sign in a bill folder that said "Big Foot Inn" on the front. I signed it and waited another 5 minutes to have someoneelse come to the window, give them the folder and for them to give me my food. Whole process was around 15 minutes for one"gyros". The gyros itself was okay. The pita was properly chewy and warm with meat piled high, tomatoes and onions to top.Served with a side of what appeared to be homemade Tsziki sauce. As you can see, "gyros" only is one gyro and one pita which Ididn't expect. But for the price of $7, it's not terrible. The meat itself was just okay as well. Kind of seasoned but a littlemushier than typical gyro meat. I'd be hard pressed to return to try again. Read more
