Of all the spots in Walworth County I can't say enough about the food, the service, and the atmosphere! I love the historical... location and the ambience. Stopped in for dinner tonight and they were packed! Server came over right away and took our drink & appetizer order, both came... out extremely quick seeing as how they were so busy! Dinner came out pretty quick too. Food was good! Servers Shayna & Dana wereAMAZING! We had the boneless wings with Buffalo and homemade firecracker sauce on the side, both were good. The firecrackersauce was sweet and spicy, but not crazy hot! We had the Freaking Fries appetizer as well, a pile of fries with cheddar cheese,bacon and green onions drizzled in ranch. These were ok, the toppings were all piled only in the middle, leaving lots of themplain, but still came out hot & crispy! The chili was very good. The French Onion Soup was delicious, worth going back just forthat! The Reuben could have been a tad crispier, but the corned beef was melt in your mouth and the homemade 1000 island wasphenomenal! After skiing, we wanted a good meal from a local restaurant. Found it here! We had cheese curds, chicken pot pie and BBQ chicken... pizza. It was all delicious. The kids also had hot chocolate that was so good! This place is a must! Read more
The ambiance is great, food is mediocre, service not great (but friendly!). We waited 15 mins for someone to take our drink... order, 15 more minutes for drinks to arrive, then ordered appetizers and main courses, which were delivered haphazardly. We hadto ask for water twice initially, and after finally getting it, we ran out and never received refills. Meh. Which is unfortunatebecause we REALLY wanted to love this place... meh Read more
Located on the square in downtown Elkhorn, Someplace Else offers a casual place with a relaxed vibe to have a nice sit down meal... with family and/or friends. The staff is very polite and friendly. With an extensive menu, you'll certainly find something toyour liking. From burgers and sandwiches, chicken entrees and wraps, steak, and a huge pot pie, they literally have somethingfor everyone. They have a children's menu and a couple vegetarian options also. They have a comfortable dinning area separatefrom the bar area if you have children with. My lunch experience has always been 5 star, but dinner last night was slow service and a very bland steak sandwich. I'm not... sure why our server wouldn't take our food order with our drink order, but she made us wait. Then she dropped off a take homecontainer, and made us wait again to pay the bill. Could have turned the table 20 minutes faster. The rest of my table enjoyedtheir food, pretty good fish fry. Read more
