Restaurant ran out of broccoli, potatoes and asparagus....Ordered a burger well done and received rare. Gentleman asked how... everything was tasting and was shown the burger and he said "oh that's more medium" and just walked away. No apology oranything, didn't ask if we wanted anything else or even to make a burger. Our bill didn't match the menu prices, so we grabbeda menu, and hand written really small at the bottom it states " prices have increased $1.00 minimum" so you have no idea whatyou're being charged until the check comes?! LMAO at this place! ???? Read more

Jenny sat and served us. She is friendly and very attentive. I didn't find the menu very inspired. Pretty much what you can... find anywhere. I am always looking for that jewel I can't get anywhere else. I had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. Itwas very good. My husband had the Philly steak sandwich and hand cut fries and says they were tasty. Helpings were large andwe both took some home. Read more

Half of the menu is unavailable. ?We?re short staffed and our cook left and the oncoming cook won?t be here for 30 minutes so... you?re going to have to wait?. Chicken salad; an abundance of brown lettuce, the avocados were missing (not ripe), and thebacon bits were really just fatty bits. Patty melt was salty ?AF? and the French fries had to be day old (crunch outside and nopotato on the inside??). Boneless chicken wings were over cooked, crispy ?AF? and contained very little chicken. Cheese curdsare bottom barrel lowest grade I?ve ever tasted (And in Wisconsin??) Worst dining experience I?ve ever had. Oh and theyadvertise breakfast however have stopped serving breakfast. My daughter and I went there for breakfast. Since our regular place was super busy. We were seated. Took over 15 minutes for our... waitress to come to us the first time. We put in our order. The table beside us, finished and left. A new couple came in,ordered food, ate and left. We were still waiting to get our food. Finally our food came. We both ordered a skillet. Mediocre atbest, we never got a refill on our sodas, $32 bill and an hour and 20 minutes later, we left. I was still hungry. My daughterstarted talking to the family behind us. They were there for 45 minutes, seated, given water and a menu, for the waitress not toreturn to take their order. A zero star rating would still be above the service. A -3 star rating would be more fitting. Read more

Used to be a big fan of this place at the old location but 4 weeks after opening in the new one - TERRIBLE. They are... over-staffed everywhere (by their own employees' admission) except the kitchen. Yet the owner is waltzing around with hissunglasses perched on top of his head, hands in his pockets, not doing anything - not helping in the kitchen, not soothingaggravated customers - NOTHING. We were warned of a 35-40 minute wait for food - but it was an hour and a half. We wereliterally walking out the door when they grabbed us with our food. Misled us several times - "10-15 more minutes max" when weasked every 20 "where is our food??" Ran out of everything that goes with a fish fry and offered substitutes FOR AN UPCHARGE. RUKM??? No offer of discounted dinner, or free dessert or drink while waiting 90 minutes for half a meal. Dropped an entirecontainer of applesauce on one of us and responded with "ugh, these plates are SO slippery", and when we said "why don't youhave a lid on these?" got "we don't have lids" - well, there are easy fixes there. Nothing on the tables - salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard, napkins, nothing. This place needs Gordon Ramsey like the Packers need Aaron Rodgers. If the owner'swell-publicized legal battles don't keep you out of this place, then his complete inability to run a restaurant properly should. He owes his staff BIG TIME - they are the only ones keeping this place afloat. Kudos to the wait staff and bartenders, butlast visit for me. Too many other solid choices in the area that know what they're doing. Read more

Considering the market impact of being next to impossible to hire experienced cooks, servers, hostesses, etc. during this time... of a struggling economy; I will praise The Lakehouse and all of their employees for doing the best they can serving the bestfish fry and breakfast in this area. The food is delicious here and all the employees have always been extremely kind andgracious. If today was a NORMAL economy with people actually looking for work, and once hired who will actually want to stayand work; by all means if service is slow I?d have something to say. TODAY, and, the last couple of years has NOT been thenormal economy case. C?mon people, we know this. Small businesses are struggling to find people to work for them AND to keepthem. Let?s give space and grace by supporting a local small business restaurant that provides our community an exceptionaloption for dining. I get it. Not everyone is struggling. We can at least be respectful during challenging economy andemployment times. We need to support small businesses that are doing the best they can in a struggling economy with lack of newhire employees and rising expenses on everything. If we don?t support, if we don?t have patience, it?ll be just another smallbusiness that closes. Community supports community, period. The new Lakehouse location is beautiful!! The food is great, withtalented cooks and kind servers doing the best they can operating extremely short handed. We eat here way too often!! Weenjoy it!! Thank you to all at The Lakehouse!! If I could give 0 stars I would. This place is AWFUL. My husband and I ended up leaving, but what started this was that we had... been sitting 10 minutes without a server coming to ask for our drink order. NOBODY acknowledged us. I started talking to theother table who was sat before us and they had no drinks. I asked if anyone had been by and they said no. I asked how long theywere waiting and they said it was a while. When I went to talk to a server I explained the situation for not only me and myhusband, but also on behalf of the other table. Who I assume to be an owner overheard and got so unbelievably disrespectfulsaying if we hadn?t been waiting as long as the other table that it wasn?t a big deal. If a manager cannot talk to theircustomers with respect then they should not be in the hospitality service. I mentioned that his attitude about the wholesituation was terrible service, to which he responded that I can go to a different restaurant. In addition, the toilet in themen?s room was broken, there was no paper towel and it was just disgusting. Read more
