The girl who was working all alone was doing everything she could to run this busy shop & take care of everything on her own.... However, people were getting upset because stock was low and the wait was too long. She maintained professional & worked nonstopbut she shouldn't have to do all that on her own & have to explain & apologize for the delay & product shortages to all theunhappy customers. She deserves a raise to put up with all that & management should be there helping or hire more help. Sad tosee Subway overworking & underpaying another employee who is doing everything on their own. The photos you see here ARE NOT from the Elkin location....they are from the Subway located in Walmart in Wilkesboro....Elkin... location needs training on cleanliness and food safety. I went to order at Elkin location lettuce was browning and bell pepperslooked slimmy. As the owner was leaving i stopped her and told her she might want to take a look at veggies as they were brownand slimmy....she just thanked me and continued to leave. Didnt even walk over and look. Two minutes later her husband came backso i thought ....he's gonna look into it. WRONG, he went to back came out with some meat and left...didnt even look at theveggie case....no concern for public safety in my opinion... So, Elkin (Walmart location) reach out to Wilkesboro (Walmartlocation) and GET SOME TRAINING!! Read more

Girl working in there was very rude! I walked up to counter and she gruffly told me it will be a while I have 5 subs to make.... She acted like she hates her job. So over people who don't want to do their job. I walked out and went to Chick-fil-A where Iwas treated with kindness. Lessons in manners are needed at Subway! Read more
If I could give zero stars I would.Went and got 4 foot long subs from here tonight. Was very very disappointed. Went in and all... 3 workers were outside smoking. Then when ordering had to keep telling them multiple times what I wanted when they was trying toclose the sub. Then get home to find out there Rotisserie chicken wasn't any good and had bad smell to it. Then the Pepperoniwas brown and had a smell to it. My children love eating at subway but this one in Walmart we will not be back to. I will becalling corporate to make a complaint. And I will be calling health department Atwell. Read more
This place is a hit & miss....... mostly miss. The staff is never the same & are always in a bad mood because they are alone for... hours to do that of at least two employees, including peak time. Staff seems to be trained minimally & thus spend way too longconfused & referring to cheat sheets posted about the cutting board they assemble the sandwiches to figure out how many of meatslices to put on each sandwich. This becomes time consuming & a bit irritating but one can only do their best with little toknow training & nerves. The environment is hardly ever clean & the abundance of flies makes getting a sandwich a big NO THANKYOU. Read more
The ladies behind the counter were sluggish and in no hurry to help the line move along. We must have been there over 30 mins.... When all I wanted was a quick dinner. I left my daughters in there to pay so I could take the groceries to the car , and theysaid the woman was rude and harsh toward them. In grabbing the money and asking if they needed a bag. It was 8 sandwiches... Dowe need a bag? No we are going to carry them individually! She shoved all of them into one bag.
