Well, I think Kristina answered the phone and took my order for take out, she was nice! But food wasn?t good at all, my salmon... was so dry and unseasoned, rice was very cold and tasteless. Great food. Good service. But I wish they had a choice of a mild salsa. It was extremely spicy and their chips were so thin... crispy and yummy that their salsa was so spicy made me very disappointed. But my husband loved it! They just need to have a mildversion. The food was good, but there were too many mistakes in 1 visit to give a great review. 1 order of 3 shrimp tacos and 2 loaded... jalapeno burgers. They brought 2 tacos and both burgers were missing the crispy strips. They brought a 3rd taco eventually whenwe pointed out the oversight and the manager explained they were short staffed and they were out of the crispy strips. I askedif we needed to pay full price for incomplete burgers and he agreed to discount our check. Everything there was fine. Then whenthe check came they tried to charge us for an order of 2 shrimp tacos and an order of 3 shrimp tacos. So we stopped for lunch. The service and the actual food was ok. Not great but ok. However, the restaurant it self was nasty.... The tables where not wiped so the food from the previous customer was dried on the table. We wiped the table with some napkinsand water that we order. We dinned on a booth next to a window. The window sill had a bed of dust along with some dead bugs. The wall next to the booth was splatter with tomato juice from what it seamed like the chips sauce. Between the booth seat andthe wall there was a bid stack stack of trash. The fans above our heads had a coating of white dust on all the boards. I tookpictures of the food which again, was not bad. I love "On the Border" but as a restaurant and On the Border goes this Columbia, MD one is less than a 1 star place. Always a... wait because they can't keep staff. I have seen mice here and they leave piles of trash in the restaurant area that is closed.I have always ordered the same thing cheese enchiladas no onions double beans. I went this time to this location and didn't eatafter twice they couldn't seem to understand the simple request that I have made every time I visit an on the border. Used to love going on the Border Columbia MD, but last week order a shrimp ???? price was $24 one Shrimp in photos 8 of them was... $12 which 3.00 for 2shrimps waiter said it was .99 a ???? but I was charged $3.00 asked to speak with a manager she was so rudesaid there is nothing she can do.
