Holy cow, this place is great! I really wish their hours were a little better, even staying open just one more hour would be... nice, but hey, with food this good, just do whatever you want, so long as you stay open!!! Super good food. I had thejägerschnitzel, my wife had the rahmschnitzel, and my friend ordered the special for the evening which was a pork shank. We allordered different sides, and we had the potato cakes as a starter. Everything was exquisite. Highly recommend. Read more
This place was so amazing! I got the party platter and there was so much food! I was jazzed because I was gonna have leftovers... and get to eat this very authentic food again ! My family lived in Germany for 4 years back in the late 70s early 80s and thisplace brought back some great memories! Yummy food for both good germany and some American flavors. Their Jager sauce and pork shank was so delicious ????. They got... Kosteitzer beer, but it is in a can. Food presentation is always so pretty ?? Read more
Friends brought us here to this German style restaurant. I ate SO much. Their menu is fantastic. Hearty and delicious. Cocktails... were intriguing. Would definitely go back. Standouts were the Falafel, potato cakes, and the variety of snitzel. They havevegetarian options as well! The party platter was great for our group. Good value German restaurant with outdoor seating There is a paver parking lot meet to the restaurant and overflow parking... across the street. Pork Schnitzel has delicious seasoning with a crispy outer crust. Large serving, perfect serving for oneperson after a 15mile hike im Pataspco Valley. Recommend the lemon vinaigrette along with the Rathskeller sauce (spicymayonnaise type sauce) Cheese Spaetzle- small is a perfect size to split amongst two people. My sweetheart brought me here for Valentine’s. I’ve been missing home, and having authentic German food since moving to... Maryland in 2016. The staff are professional, and friendly! When I dropped my silverware, a server brought a replacement whileholding it in a napkin. I ordered the Peach Cobbler mixed drink, my boyfriend had a beer. We each ordered schnitzel as well(pork and chicken). The breading is delicious! Tastes like home. I got a side of fries as well, and it comes with a subtledusting of curry powder. Read more

Wow! My friends had the best time for Oktoberfest at Rathskeller. Beautiful weather. Outside dining. Coffee shop and downstairs... bar. The music was amazing! They had a line up of different musicians come every hour. Set in the middle of historic Eldridge,Maryland this place is a real treat. The food is authentic, fresh and delicious. They have a good selection of German beer andwine as well. If you are a Ravens fan, they have this delectable “purple drink” that they serve in a coupe’ that youshould order. Try the Curry Wurst, Hank’s pretzel, and Chicken Schnitzel too. I can’t wait for Oktoberfest 2023 atRathskeller. Read more
