I usually love the Silver Diner but unfortunately this visit left much to be desired. My first chicken noodle soup was cold as... if the warmer was not on. Second one came out and it was lukewarm and as you can see so basically the broth than anything else.My ginger ale was basically a cup FULL of ice. Which I had to ask for another one with little ice. When my food came out (Fishand Chips) it was barely lukewarm as well. It wasn't that busy so I'm not sure what happened but the rest of my family's entreeswere fine. Good thing is a manager came by and we informed him that the state of my food and QUICKLY apologized and said hewould make it right. My replacement entree was quickly brought out and was hot and what I have already come to expect from thiswonderful franchise. Began poorly but was quickly rectified. Read more
6/9/22 Came to visit Maryland for a graduation. Ordered the crab cakes and they were great. Cooked to order, full of crab and... little filler. Ordered the sweet potato fries and a strawberry lemon drop which was nice. Waitress and staff was very friendly.Would definitely return. Read more
The burger was good; the fries were not good, but the service was excellent, so it made up for it. Fries at McDonald?s were... better. Being from Jersey, we have diners all over, so I will do that; it may not beat our diners. It is suitable for the area. Read more
I've been searching long and hard for a place like Mel's from California and this place has a similar feel to it! I ordered... their Bay Benedict and my fiance got a BYOB (build your own burger) with sweet potato fries. Food came out pretty quickly andwas delicious! We finished our plates completely. The only issue was that our milkshake didn't come out until after my fiancefinished his food. Turns out, they didn't have anyone making the milkshakes, so our waiter had to quickly make it himself.Overall, we would definitely be back to try out other items on their expansive menu. Read more
This was my first time in and the the atmosphere is very friendly and inviting as we were immediately greeted and offered... seating. The staff was organized and the menu was diverse with traditional diner food and healthy options with delicioustwists. I had Oatmeal milk pancakes with fresh blueberries that had 40 grams of protein and this was absolutely delicious. Theprices were reasonable, portions generous, and they take both cash and credit. Silver Diner was absolutely amazing! If you are in need of a solid breakfast, or even dinner this is where you need to come.... Service was great and food came out hot not too long after placing our order. Price was above average for breakfast but you willnot be upset. I highly recommend, we will come back in the future. Silver diner was a pleasant experience, we were greeted right away and sat immediately. The staff was friendly and attentive.... The food was real good and a pleasant change from my normal food. If you're in the area definitely check them out. Read more
