My boyfriend and I had an amazing dinner there a couple of nights ago. I got the blue crab capellini (left) and my boyfriend got... the corvina (right). Both were absolutely delicious! Our server was so friendly and she gave us some suggestions of what to eatsince we were from out of town and hadn't been here before. Didn't disappoint - highly recommend. Read more

Was looking forward to try this restaurant based on their reviews and their well made website. What a disappointment! The steak... was tough. The servings were so small $9 for a small half a cup of conch chowder that was too salty and too spicy. The caesarsalad was salty. For the price we paid, it felt like we ate at a cantina, ambiance was not fine dining and our server was indesperate need of training. Their parking lot was in a horrible condition. Best part of the meal was the pizza, hence the 2stars. There are a lot of restaurants in St Augustine, I do not recommend Black Fly. Read more

The food and atmosphere were amazing. My wife and I were celebrating our 20 anniversary and we were very pleased with... everything. We had the fried calamari for an appetizer. It had just the right amount of flavor and breeding. Then for dinner Ihad the surf and turf fried rice and my wife had the mahi mahi. We were both very pleased with our meals. We enjoyed our experience at Black Fly, the Restaurant. The decor was very nice. The service was great. The noise level from... other guests was pretty loud. The food was good. The bread was delicious and hot from the oven. The Coquilles St. Jacques(scallops) appetizer was really good. We split an order of the coconut lobster tails (3 half tails) that came with mashedpotatoes and cauliflower. The potatoes were delicious. The cauliflower was basic.
