This was probably some of the best food I've had at a restaurant in awhile! I ordered the Cuban Rice Bowl with grilled salmon.... The rice and beans were definitely the stars of the dish, but the other components were really good too! Absolutely fantastic! Delicious seafood cooked to perfection, friendly staff, and a beautiful patio area with soft lighting and... fans. The Chef's daily creation was the best thing I've ever eaten. Heard this place was good . Not Good it was Great ! 2 couples went out on 4/7 .sat outside. We had the Oyster App . Alot of... flavor in the Oysters and eggs. 2x salmon salad . They loved it . Blackened fish special. Was raved about. I had the shrimpand grits . That was off the charts. Chocolate cream Brulee . Chocolate lovers dream . Depth of flavors. This place was recommended by several locals and it didn’t disappoint. The service was prompt and attentive. The food was... delicious. My favorite place in St. Augustine! The location is awesome. The food was phenomenal ???? the drinks were literally perfect. My... favorite part was the service. We accidentally made our reservation a month ahead but the hostess let us sit at the bar. It wasvery intimate and we got the most awesome service. We sat next to a friend of the owner on his day off (Will) and he was sorefreshing and friendly to talk to. The bartender was such a sweetheart and he made our drinks nice and strong (: we ended upstaying until after close to chat with the servers, Will and the bartender and they were all so sweet and friendly. I felt likewe were hanging out with old friends. It was such an amazing experience. Not to mention they bought us shots to celebrate ourrecent wedding. Overall 11/10 service and food! Went early for lunch with my family and it was delicious! Very happy with this place! We had great service and a quite flavorful... meal! My wife had the chicken tacos and I indulged getting the blackened shrimp and grits. Mouthwatering! Definitely comingback, and soon!! Read more
I have been here at least a dozen times and never once been disappointed. Excellent restaurants are all about consistency and... this place has it. A carefully crafted menu with memorable flavor combinations and mindfully sourced ingredients. I personallylove the outside atmosphere but of course it depends on the weather. The inside is small and the wait can get pretty long so ifyou really want to eat here I recommend reservations (if they take them) or showing up early before the rush to see if they canget you in. But we just at here earlier this evening on a Tuesday in September and it was nice and quiet. Enjoy a variety ofseafood dishes and more with interesting creations you just won’t find anywhere else in town. Again, consistently excellent inmy opinion.
