Heard their coffee was good so we all stopped by. Was not disappointed. The coffee was good and not burnt. The staff was... friendly and the store was clean. Australian theme but you won?t find these in Australia at all. There is seating indoor andsome outdoor. Bathroom was sadly out of order both visits. Read more

Very delicious coffee!! The Aussie is more bitter while the Honey Badger was sweeter. Both very good and highly recommended!... Staff was friendly and welcoming! The seating area was a little odd because there was no music, so it felt like you had to bevery quiet. Read more

Well, the Kookaburra is certainly a most kooky place to stop! I have a couple good friends who are Australian, so when I saw... that this place serves Aussie pies I knew I had to go in honor of them. Whenever my friends were stateside, one thing theyalways raved about was how much they missed their meat pies from back home. It felt like I walked into a part of their worldbeing at the Kookaburra and it made me so happy. We tried the sweet potato and feta pie and I really enjoyed it. If you?re asweet potato fan at all and don?t mind savory pies, this one?s for you. Also, the vanilla/ cinnamon latte I got to drink wasfantastic. They do also have a bathroom, but you have to ask a worker for a key. This is a super cute and convenient stop indowntown St. Augustine and can be the perfect way to beat the heat and take a yummy break for a little bit. I?m not entirelysure just how authentic the Aussie pies here are (if only one of my friends from down unda could have tried), but this Americanpalette sure did enjoy it! Read more

As a self-proclaimed lover of all things food, I could not walk by the Kookaburra Coffee without stopping by. It was around 5... pm, and I was in the mood for a small snack. I can never pass up a homemade meat pie, I ordered one traditional and one Thaichicken curry meat pie. To my surprise, they were half off the regular price! All baked goods after 4pm are half off, what awonderful deal! The recipe has been in the owner?s family for a very long time. The dough is flaky, the filling is well balancedwith loads of flavor. The Thai chicken curry had lovely white and dark meat, along with a plethora of veggies. The traditionalmeat pie was a soy incredible with a nice tomato sauce. All in all, I wish I took more home with me. I could eat these on adaily basis. Will definitely return when we?re back in town. Read more

This place was super cute and not terribly priced although they didn't seem to have any signs with prices so you kinda just have... to trust it'll be worth the price. The frozen Alaskan got chocolate was awesome. The seating area in a separate little place isa nice thing too. Read more

We frequently visit St Augustine and keep saying we?d stop in here. This trip we went twice to this location, and stopped by... their other location before leaving to head home. All I can say is the positivity, kind nature and smiling faces of theemployees made their coffee THAT much better! Once we went in once, it instantly became my new favorite coffee shop in SA. Thegirls were all soooo sweet. Not to mention that on a busy evening one of the girls was stopped coming out of the Treasury bytourists asking a ton of questions about the Treasury while she was clearly trying to head back to the counter. Not only did shestop what she was doing, answer all of their questions with a smile on her face, but she then hopped back behind the counter tomake our coffee ... all with such an upbeat attitude. Coffee is amazing. Try the Iced Aussie. I bought a shirt even - we?ll beback! Read more
