I really loved this place! We got the Love Boat for 2 and it was spectacular! The pieces of fish were huge and very flavorful.... The sushi rolls were great. A lot of times at other places with this entree you'll get one of the smaller, less expensiverolls, but not this one! The service was really great too. Our waiter was so funny and on the ball. Totally unassuming and really solid Asian bistro! I look forward to eating here as I just love the soba noodles and how they are... prepared here. So full of flavor! The sushi I ordered was ok.. not my favorite but good. They have a ?dry? beer.. and I reallyenjoyed it! Service is great too and they can accommodate larger parties. Clean and a nice atmosphere. Delicious food and the sweetest staff. We went at a slow time so there were only a couple other patrons there and the service... was fast. They were happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. Most importantly, I have a severe MSG sensitivity sothey ensured there was none used in everything we ordered. Very bad experience today. I had the Steak Hibachi lunch, and it had a very bad taste. I started with the side vegetables and... not only were they over cooked but The sauce had a very unpleasant taste. I took in a piece of the steak, And immediately Icould taste the meat was bad and was just covered up with the same sauce that the vegetables had. I stood up en went straightto the cashier to pay and leave. The waitress approached me and asked me about the food because I had left my table 2 minutesafter they brought me my food. I told her that I did not like it, ?she responded why?? And I simply said it had a very badtaste. After that she just started speaking in her language to the cashier turned around and left. For a moment I thought theywere going to give me credit for the food (although that was never my intention). instead I got the invoice with an attitudewhich I found it to be kind of funny because it should?ve been me who was offended I went ahead and paid and left. One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in St. Augustine. It is located near my friends' home and they love how it is never... crowded. They took me out here in the past. The sushi rolls are tasty and filling. Prices are good. Service is great too.Definitely a go to place when I visit and move back to St. Augustine, Florida. Read more
Recommend this place for a hearty meal. Even if just for a quick bit, you can find something just for you. They have large... selections many that are tailored to be on the healthy side. I only start with gyoza but already impressed with the quality. Ihad the green monster this time. At first its smooth from the avocado rapping but the kick is from the small spot of spice ontop. The spiciness creeps up with each bit. Loved it. Can't wait to try another dish next time. Read more
What a fantastic place! Lovely inside and they offer take out. Generous servings and the food is delicious!! I ordered lunch... through door dash and it's enough food for three days! I have literally eaten here at least 50 times and never have beendisappointed. Our waiter was so friendly and had us laughing the entire time.
