Wonderful lunch! The shrimp tacos & fish and chips were the best & oh those rosemary fries!

We like to try all of the different food trucks and restaurants in the area. We decided on Uptown Scratch Kitchen yesterday for... lunch. The food is made to order and is hot and fresh when you get it. We both ordered a Philly Cheese Steak one without onionsand the other with mushrooms. They came with a side of rosemary fries. We both commented on how fresh and soft the rollswere. While they tasted great, everything including the fries were way, way, way to salty. It was difficult to enjoy the otherfavors. I could only eat 1/2 of the sandwich and less the than 1/2 of the fries. All the salt literally made me physically illfor the rest of the day. The only other thing, like everywhere else the prices are a bit high, 2 sandwiches with fries, nodrinks was $48. We are undecided if we will try them again. With so many other options we won't be back anytime in the nearfuture. Read more

If your heading to St. Augustine this food truck strip with picnic tables and water views is worth a visit. Uptown Scratch... Kitchen is seriously the most expensive food truck meal I?ve ever had but also the most delicious. We order a burger that wasbetter quality then some high end restaurants and fried shrimp that my husband said was the best he?s had. The atmosphere by thedock, feeling the breeze and seeing the boats is a nice relaxing place to go with family or on a date. Read more

DECEPTIVELY delicious. Believe the hype. Husband and I shared a shrimp po boy for lunch and it was definitely enough for the two... of us. You also get a generous serving of fries, but I would probably try the onion rings next time. Shrimp are big, sweet, andbattered nicely. Staff is helpful and friendly, and genuinely seem to enjoy being there, too. Definitely recommend. Read more

When I?m deciding what I want for lunch, my first question in my head is... ?is this restaurant/ food truck better than uptown... scratch kitchen??? Usually the answer is a resounding ?NO?. We loved the food and the service at dinner so much we came back for lunch. You don't get to have it your way, you get it the... way the chef intended. Also, this is not fast food, this is quality food prepared fresh to order. They work with DOS the beer,wine, and coffee bar next door so you can eat in the Air conditioning of you like. And across the street there is a pastry shopwith cookies and chocolates. This little area was a trifecta of culinary delight! Read more
