The food was great. Our server Carolyn was outstanding! She was so nice and on top of things! I also have to give kudos to the... manager. My sister had originally ordered a specific latte. They stopped serving the Pumpkin Spice latte. The manager came toour table and explained they no longer had the Pumpkin Spice latte. He asked my sister if a Cinnabon latte ( their new one)would be okay with her. She said "that will be fine. " It was delicious! Yes, I sampled it!!! Talk about customer service! If you've been to a cracker barrel you likely know what to expect. This location was as good as the best experience I've ever... had at one. Not too crowded which helped keep things moving along. We were seated promptly and with a smile. Our waiter wassuper excited to take care of the table and constantly checked in on us and refilled our drinks. Good came out piping hot,cooked to perfection. Gravy to die for. The biscuits, oh the biscuits. Do good you could eat two baskets and still want more.Ordered the beignets for dessert and they were very tasty. Not a great representation of regular visits to other Cracker Barrels. Service was very slow. The food that came out was... clearly sitting under a heat lamp for some time, as most of the meals seemed dried out and overcooked. After 15-20 minutes ofwaiting we asked for the biscuits to come out to tide us over and they still took another 10 minutes to arrive with ourmeals. The table behind us, which sat down much later than us, was served there biscuits before us and meals shortly afterours. I understand that staffing issues are an issue everywhere, but I don't think that is quite the case during thisvisit. Despite the food, restrooms were clean and the store was well organized. Our experience at this Cracker Barrel was good overall. I enjoyed the food- I got catfish, greens, and hashbrown casserole. I... really wanted just plain hashbrowns, but I guess that's no longer served. The casserole is too cheesy for my liking, similar toMac and cheese. The catfish and greens were delicious, and I always enjoy the biscuits. I got coffee and water, and my husbandgot a mocha. He enjoyed it. The coffee was good as well. Our food came out quickly, so that was good. However, the waitressnever returned to offer refills of water or coffee. She did bring the check promptly. It was pretty busy, so it seemed like shehad quite a few tables to wait on. Read more
Great visit to the Barrel today! I got the chicken fried steak with potatoes and green beans. Everything was well seasoned and... the steak was delicious! I also tried one of their new craft coffee's. It was a mocha and surprisingly good. They offer it hotor cold, I opted for the hot. Service was also spot on today. Okay, the beignets, with the pecan syrup, were amazing; the creamy hash browns were so tasty and delicious; the biscuits were... very nice too; and everything else was mediocre. The service was nice, with the exception of the floor manager going to everysingle table to see how everyone was doing, except, she skipped our table and others for obvious reasons, Cracker Barrel (CB)just being CB! Love the store, found good quality quilts that I haven't seen since Hot Springs, Arkansas, at a quilt store nearLuRay's. The CB store had a really nice section of plus size clothing for us menopausal baby boomers that are going through alot more than pausing for men; who couldn't, obviously, deal with men-o-pause. But, yeah, loved the selection and, as always,the candy collections of our past. Read more
Love this Cracker Barrel location. Super good and fast service. Very friendly. Food is fresh and delicious as always. Southern... fried chicken was extra crispy and juicy. Fried catfish was juicy too. Prices are amazing! Keep up all the great work CrackerBarrel. I only wish there's a Cracker Barrel close to NY. Read more
