Ordered a bacon cheeseburger with little cajun fries. Get it delivered. Missing toppings, one of the buns, no mayo of course.... And the wrong fries. This is literally the sloppiest order I have ever encountered from Five Guys in Elkton. Read more
I?m going to say this one time and one time only to the owner who owns this new Five Guys Burger. Monday June 20, 2022. I called... your store at 9:56 and was told by a employee that you was closing at 10. I ask to speak to the manager and said that me and mywife was hungry and wanted to place a order and that I am 5 minutes away from the store. The manager took my order and I wasvery impressed by that. Things employees do to make a owner make money at last minute is classy in my life. There was 4employees 2 females and 2 males and as I pulled up they opened the door for me because they locked it being after 10:05 when Igot there and all 4 of them was very polite and not angry like some employees get when a last customer calls or show up.Hopefully someone from the company sees this and just mentioned it to them how special those 4 employees before closing made meand wife stomach feel good. Probably one of the best Five Guys I have had the pleasure of patronizing on the East Coast. Just as tasty as every other one... but this one was assembled and presented perfectly. I usually don?t get the fries but this time I said what the hell. They wereawesome. Great friendly service, easy parking, and a burger that can?t be beat anywhere on the planet. Placed an order for two little cheeseburgers and an order of fries for pickup at 9:00 pm. Walked into the restaurant at... precisely 9. The burgers were sitting in a bag near the fryers and an employee informed me that he was waiting on fries. Therewere none ready and none in the fryers. He then proceeded to wander off and fetch 5 gallons of cooking oil and top off all thefryers. After repeatedly verifying the levels and temperature settings, he remembered to drop some fries in for cooking. Ireceived the order at precisely 9:15 with piping hot fries and lukewarm burgers... Very good food and friendly staff working the counter and kitchen. I would have given it a 5 star but two guys in the picture... where just making the environment a bit toxic and uncomfortable for dining guests. The guy in white and the guy behind him wereconstantly making disparaging comments about the staff and the customers coming in. The shorter guy in the back was playing onhis phone the whole time I was there. Not working at all. It just made the visit unnecessarily uncomfortable. I don't know ifthe guy in white is the franchisee or what, but he really needs to treat his staff and customers with a bit more dignity andrespect.
