I have visited Hayday Bake and Brew about once a week to get a sweet treat for my daughter. They have always been delicious and... super friendly. Today I went in for lunch and the waitress recommended the Caprese Panini. So delicious. Perfectly crisp breadand warm melty cheese. It was delicious. I ate it out in the sunshine on their front patio. Highly recommend you come visit thisplace. Don?t ever make the mistake of walking in with your own cup of coffee. After I ordered I was asked to dispose of my half cup. I... told the owner, I am entirely going to purchase a second cup once done with this one. He wouldn?t allow it. Quoting the smallprinted sign, ?no outside food or drink?. (I honestly didn?t see it). I said ?I ordered a panini and I?m going to get anothercup of coffee!? He wouldn?t allow it. If that?s not the definition of money grubbing, idk what is. Oh, did I mention. I was theonly one there? Like what harm could I do? Tell everyone that the bakery allows you to bring your own coffee while you enjoytheir panini? So he was fine with me waiting outside in the rain for my sandwich. I was very displeased with what I received. First I was told a price over the phone but charged a completely different price,... then after receiving the cake I ended up throwing the whole thing away. The cake tasted days old, it was extremely dry andovercooked as well as the buttercream icing I asked for was rock hard as if it were that gross molding icing. I will never wastemy money here again. I heard such good things about this place, but what I received was NOT a 50 dollar cake, you can also seewhere they messed up on the writing, some of it even being removed and a dark stain line left in place. The cake its self wasbeautiful, don't get me wrong. But the taste and quality was absolutely awful. What was supposed to be a very sentimentalbirthday for someone who moved literally across the u.s to be here for me and my child turned into a show of me tossing a 50$cake into the garbage because it was inedible. First time here, on a recommendation from our son in law. The food is very good, and looks delicious even just sitting in the... case. We didn't try the cider (driving over the pass in a blizzard), but we're intrigued enough to go back and check itout. The interior is inviting and comfortable, the staff is friendly, and overall we enjoyed our visit very much. You shouldgive this great little place a try, it's definitely worth it. Read more
