So uncomfortably cold I could not stand to eat. I?m sure the temp in dining area was less than 65 degrees. Food won?t even stay... hot in here. They said if they turned it up for dining room the kitchen would get too hot. Maybe they need to consider an extraair conditioner for the kitchen. It?s ridiculously cold. What?s not to like on my first time here?!? Our waitress Melissa was attentive and friendly. She took care of us during our two... hour stay - time to catch up with girlfriends who haven?t seen each other in 3 months. One girlfriend recommended thisrestaurant. She visits once a week, and has never been disappointed. The food is consistently good, and she likes the service,too. When we visited Wednesday, 6/22/22, all of us were pleased with service and food. All of us had salads and they were allgood. I had the chicken Caesar, one had the shrimp fresh greens salad, and another had the strawberry fresh greens salad. Weliked the breadstick that came with each salad. All was fresh and tasty. Melissa kept our drinks full, and offered to go cupsto each of us. She was a big part of our 5 star experience. Read more
I came to this Applebees establishment for lunch since I was shopping at the near by premium outlet. I gave it two stars just... because Anna the waitress was nice enough to acknowledge us while we waited to be served. Anna was nice enough to attend to ourneeds which we pointed out the booth we were seated at was disgusting, filthy, unclean with food grease on the windows, table,and food crumbs on the booth seats and the floor had soft drinks spillage. Never again will I eat here again. We had steak andshrimp with mashed potatoes including broccoli, we also had salmon broccoli and mashed potatoes. Both plates were cold. If itwasn?t for Anna I would have given it a 1 star. A tip for management, cleanliness is key! Outside smells like sewer so bad I almost didn?t go in!! The waitress was very good. Food was mediocre like all Applebees. 1/2... price apps after 10pm except chicken wings. Idk about you but when they serve broken bones and derpy looking wings I get grossedout! Read more
This Applebee?s location is clean and the service was great. My usual favorite of Shrimp and Parmesan sirloin and ending it with... a desert of my favorite Triple chocolate meltdown just never gets old. Love it Read more
Spent a day on the Cochenia Beach enjoying the sun, breezes, and my son, an grandchildren. Late afternoon, about 2:30 pm showed... up, and of course kids are hungry. Packed up and decided to stop at a restaurant about 5 miles down the road on Cortez Blvd andHwy blvd 301( a place I had stopped a few times before. We had 8 people, and was told +45 minutes, place had many open tables.Left for another location, same franchise.Got to Ellenton, Hwy 301, I-75. Walked in, and was an hour + waiting. Beingresourceful inquired at Applebee's across the street. Come on down, no waiting at all. Do we ended up at this Staff friendly,open tables, and great service by Brittany, one of the very best servers I have had in quite some time. We had left 2 otherplaces with the red ????? pepper, and it seemed to us they did not have time for us. I realize Coved, Coved, Coved is theexcuse by many companies these days, yes I know it's real ! Horrible service. Never got my wine. Apps came with no plates. My brothers beer came with no mug. When we asked for a mug never... came. When my husband went to the bar to get my wine. She was nasty and said I don?t owe you a wine. The waitress was standingright there and just walked away after she told us. She knows she owes us a wine. Never again. Read more
