Decent meal. 5 minute wait wasn't bad. Portions were small on salad and about half a bowl of salsa. $5.95 for chips and salsa... should earn a full bowl! Server was nice and attentive. I had the Big Mouth chicken sandwich and wished it had more "secretsauce." Cole slaw I got was about half filled, but tasty. Server offered drink refills which we appreciated. All and all, betterthan my last Chili's experience so I'll return. Read more
This chili's is about as average of a chili's experience as you can imagine. Usually too busy for its own good. Unfortunately... ever since covid this location seems to has struggled with having enough employees but beyond that, this is a great cleanlocation to visit if you're ever in the area! Read more
Should?ve known better when the mat out front was dirty.... Took four minutes to be greeted by host and it wasn?t busy, plenty... of servers eating and talking ... touching their face and hair and definitely noticed me standing there... an additional sixminutes to be greeted by server, had to ask the food runner if he knew who my server was..... took 38 mins to receive food....that was inedible. The server came by and asked how it was I told her horrible she just kinda laughed . Even asked if I wanted abox and I told her absolutely not .... I ate a quarter of my burger as it was disgusting ... the street corn was old and coldand my daughters steak and asparagus looked disgusting . Chili?s really disappointed me and a manager never even came by knowinghow long the ticket time was. Honestly a waste of time and money. I will not be returning. The only ok part was the presidentamargarita although it was served in a very small glass instead of the large ones they usually are served in . Definitely willnot return. Excellent service, food was disgusting and made my stomach hurt mid meal. Only positive food wise was the black beans with pico.
Regular menu with a special cocktail ???? for Valentines Day. Kitchen was slow, however the waitress informed us of the wait... and brought chips and salsa. Something they should consider to provide whenever this happens. That little touch along withfilled beverages that don't make waiting seem so bad. The choose three platter was good. We both had ribs, chicken andquesadilla, enough leftover to take home. Street corn was really good and French fries were also included. Waitress was promptand attentive. Read more
40 minute wait for appetizer. Wrong food served. Old ranch with what looked like someone else's food in it. Half the restaurant... closed due to staffing, so I went in ready for a wait and slow service. I received one of the worst dining experiences ever. Wastold the manager would be right over with the correct order. 15 minutes later, manager comes but with no food. He said he isworking on turning the restaurant around. Good luck! Read more
I dont want to get into detail about how all that was wrong with both of our meals. It was a tough hot weekend. My well deserved... man and I went to Ellenton Chilis. I know the Hospitality Industry is tough now, but rolling the dice on 80$ meal makes goingout, SO less appealing. I upgraded my sides to my hlf slab of ribs, hoping to bite into some juicy "Street corn, and the loadedmashed potatoes. Instead, I was delivered warmish fries and dead dry cob of corn on a stick. It literally looked liked it wastaken out of the garbage and nuked for 20 seconds. We were sitting at the bar, as we usually do, and the tender was obiviouslypretty busy working alone,with a full bar as well as tending to servers drink orders too. Understandably, we had to wait a goodwhile for him to to ask if everything was alright. My boyfriends Ribeye was cooked right, and looked good (uncommon) but he wasmissing the shrimp. Ironically, the couple next to us ordered the same entree, also missing shrimp that I pointed out to them!????. I hate to be so critical. Ive been in the restaurant business for 30 years. Every position is challenging and good help isreally hard to come by now. Chilis is known for their "baby back" ribs. Sadly, tipped employees are paying the price for lack ofgood management. Our bill was partially comped for the wrong/missing food but not as what the manager "Corey" explained. 20% ofyour "Original" bill before comps and coupons is appreciated by those who work hard to serve you and try to give you a goodexperience. Chili's is a great place to go for lunch. There was plenty of seats open so we didn't have to wait. Service was quick and the... food was good. The spicy shrimp tacos were awesome. The only flaw were the southwestern spingrolls. They were on the blandside. All-in-all the food was excellent. Read more
