I frequent this location because it is near to me. Over the past five years, I have had numerous compliants but felt compelled... to write about my experience today. 1. Overall I do not go thru the drive-thru because of long waits even when only a fewcars. 2. After long waits, constantly out of chicken. 3. Today, went inside, only customer, the cashier stopped in the middleof taking my order to take a personal call on her cell phone. 4. I Ordered 3 separate orders of chicken and when I requested?sweet heat? for each order, was told that, because I did not purchase ?tenders?, I would now be charged an extra .52 cents foreach sweet heat. 4. When I requested to speak to a manager, I was told by the manager, ?if you go to McDonalds you are chargedextra for sauces?, she also said, and I quote, ?Ya?ll think Popeyes is ghetto.? We were the fourth car in the Drive-Thru did not move for 15 minutes. So we decided to pull out of the lane park the car and... dine in. There were approximately eight people that already placed an order waiting for food. The waiting cash register for 10minutes we finally got the place our order. It took 30 minutes to get a chicken sandwich ready. I had the two-piece meal. Sodried out I thought I was eating chicken jerky. The only person that actually was getting anything done was the cashier. And hewas doing everything! I saw people in each of their workstations not taking any initiative or incentive to help get food outfaster. I even saw a manager being part of the chaos. The hush puppy Shrimp Combo is not what you think. In their ad it shows shrimp, fries, biscuit for $6. So we ordered This... meal and was charged $8.99 + tax. There were no hush puppies or fries. Went back to the counter and girl said because Iordered coleslaw as a side for one meal and Mac n? cheese for the other meal you don?t get fries. Plus she charges me .50 forMac n? cheese. Food was good and fresh. People at this location were nice, but the wait does tend to be longer then most other fast food... places. However, as long as the food is good, I'll deal when I'm really craving popeyes. Read more
Lorraine???? Shea???? Gave ZERO Customer Service!!!! The rice was old and the beans were dry, I couldn't leave feedback because... I was denied a receipt so this is the next best thing. Sue was toward the back when I walked in and she was the one thatgreeted me and welcomed me. I thanked her for that bc that's the way it should be . 5 ????? for HER but the overall experiencewas not pleasant I can't fathom having someone callous and unprofessional at the FRONT of a business but that seems to be thenorm these days for several places Ive visited . Beep; Boop Beep!?s old lady had the hanker?n for a proper chicken sandwich to fight off the demons of her first Covid vaccine... shot and I figured if anything could answer the bell it?s Popeye?s. As much as I?d like to dock this review by 2 stars for themclosing the dinning room before 7p and forcing me to wait in a line of 8 cars, the only thing worse then the wait is facing theboss lady chicken sandwich?less; so I persevered. Almost an hour in the drive through for 2 meals. The cashier at the window was very pleasant and friendly. Our chicken was not... cooked long enough though, and the size of the tenders and nuggets were probably half the size they used to be. Read more
