Food absolutely not worth the wait. Took an hour and ten minutes after we ordered for the main course to come out. I ordered... the brisket and fries. The fries were pretty good but the brisket was some of the worst I have ever seen. Basically burnt chunks(see attached photos). The server basically ignored us for the hour we were waiting for food. My wife got the 5 ounce steak andher coworker got the 10 ounce steak and there is no way the 5 ounce steak was half the size of the other steak. Maybe a third ifwe are being generous. She described the steak as unseasoned and tasteless. Not sure why our experience doesn't match the otherpeople's reviews but I can't ever recommend eating here. Read more

We had the opportunity to have a stay-cation at the prestigious Turf Valley resort just outside Ellicott city maryland where you... can chill by the pool , have a business conference or play 18 rounds of golf. The restaurant on site was the "Alexandra'srestaurant " located at the lower level of the facility. Me and my wife awoke to breakfast in bed consisting of the short stackmeal with bacon ! Everything was delicious and delivered quickly. Read more

We had been to Alexandra’s a number of times before, but this review will primarily be for our experience with them around our... wedding. We had a private event in Christina’s Room the evening before our wedding (a rehearsal dinner followed by a welcomereception for our out-of-town guests). We were very happy with the planning process with Shannon. She was great to work with(communicative, friendly, professional) and helped tailor the event perfectly for us. The room was pretty and private with agreat view. We were very happy with both the plated meals at the dinner and with the displays at the welcome reception. Theservers who helped us that evening, Peyton and Kat/Cat did a fabulous job. They were friendly, professional, and workedextremely hard to keep our guests happy. After our wedding, Kevin (the bartender), was incredibly kind, patient, andaccommodating to our guests who wanted to keep the party going at the second floor bar. We really appreciate him doing this! Wealso had the option for an early breakfast the morning after the wedding for the early riser guests (it was Mother’s Day, sonot a typical Sunday morning). We were very happy with our experience with Alexandra’s and look forward to going back. We willdefinitely consider them in the future for group events and would recommend them. Read more

We had our rehearsal dinner here 1 year ago. The staff and food is phenomenal. We are back again for our 1 year anniversary and... the experience is just as good. Definitely a must! Read more

This review is for the Sunday Brunch only. The wait staff is pleasant and attentive. The station chefs omelette carvery and... pasta were excellent. Wait staff kept the Mimosas coming, however I was very disappointed in the food. Our reservation was11:30 the chafing dishes were not keeping anything hot "at all"! Belgian Waffle was cold as was the sausage which has a reallygood flavor but cold. Potatoes were cold. Desserts looked better than they tasted. They were too sweet and they had been sittingaround too long whipped cream settled into to a rubbery topping. However the Bourbon bread pudding was hot and delicious. Theshrimp were good the Pasta was good. My omelet was okay. The items for the kids were old and cold chicken tenders were awfulpotatoe tots. I was disappointed because this was Turf Valley however the cost was only $40. As well the menu was somewhatlimited in my opinion having been to many Sunday Brunch. Please get the hot water in the chafing dishes $. Read more

Decided to give this place a try since it had decent happy hour prices and based on most reviews it appeared to be a great place... to try. Well....my husband and I weren't that impressed. First our server wasn't the most pleasant. Seemed annoyed when we askedabout the happy hour menu. Maybe he was tired or had a bad day but it was a bit off-putting. I had the calamari and my husbandhad cream of crab soup. Both dishes were pretty good, just not fantastic but it was just happy hour bites so my hopes aren'tusually that high anyway. Overall ok experience. Maybe I will try dinner or brunch there onday. No rush though. Read more

I hosted my daughter's Sweet 16 at this venue. Entire process was seamless from beginning to end. Shannon was amazing at... communicating and making sure all details were perfect. The day of the event from the moment we walked in the door we hadoffered assistance with everything including decorating. Our server (unfortunately I don't remember her name) was amazing. Wewere a party of 20 and she handled all of our request quickly and efficiently. The food was delicious and atmosphere wasbeautiful! I highly recommend this location for event needs and look forward to hosting my next party at Alexandra's. Read more
