First two times I ordered it was awesome! Ordered the same thing today crab cakes and wedge salad with crab added. Iceberg Wedge... salad had a lot of the core of the lettuce head left on it so a large portion of the salad was inedible. I ended up with moretoppings than lettuce and it was gross. Bacon on the salad was cold and old. Bit into a bacon piece and grease came oozing out.Crab added to the salad was dry and over cooked. Four Little Crab Cakes were cold and greasy. ???? Thought this was a new go toplace for me and my family but I guess it depends on who?s in the kitchen that day. Highly disappointed and last time ordering. Read more
Absolutely disgusting food! The so called buffalo wings were horrible! Red baby throw up poured over some soggy wings doesn?t... make them buffalo wings! The toppings on the pizza looked and tasted as if they were not cooked. Floppy pepperoni and sausageslices don?t do it for me. Maybe I?m just different, but I imagined that the toppings would have a little crisp or slight ovenburn (Coal Fire?) around the edges????????. Total waste of money. I had a take out order for margherita pizza and when I went to get it, the pizza box was so featherlight that I had to make... sure that it had the pizza in it by opening it first. The sauce is delicious, chopped basil adds the required flavor alignswith the olive oil. But my qualms are with the quality of the crust and the portions of cheese and sauce. It?s as if thekitchen is running on tight budget while charging the customers a hefty price. The pizza can definitely use more cheese andsauce if not generous. Crust is supposed to be pliant and crispy, not a lot chewy and rubbery. I am disappointed on many levelswith the pizza itself, but the staff were pretty nice and cool. Read more
We went to Coal Fire Pizza with the in-laws yesterday for lunch and it was AMAZING. Pictured is the 16" pizza my spouse and I... ordered (had about 3 slices left over). The crust is super thin, just the way I like it. We got half regular cheese and halfspinach & Italian sausage, and selected their classic sauce (which was more delicious than any "regular" type sauce I've had atother pizza places). I can wholeheartedly say this is the best pizza I've ever tasted! Regarding cost, I'd say it wascomparable to other local pizza places. It is only slightly more expensive than generic pizza places and (of course) a milliontimes better quality. For two 16" pizzas, a house side salad, regular house salad, and four sweet teas, the total was around $65pre tip. All of the staff we interacted with were wonderful, especially our waitress who was cheerful and prompt withorder-taking and drink refills. She assessed our readiness to order very precisely so that we weren't left sitting for agesafter deciding what we were going to order. Definitely top-notch service. This was my first time visiting, but it's one of myin-laws' favorite restaurants and now I understand why! We'll definitely be back soon. (Editing to note that Coal Houserecommends only adding *three toppings at most* to ensure your pizza bakes perfectly. So be sure to keep to three toppings orfewer when ordering.) Read more
Love! Love! Love! The crabmeat pizza wings salad and drinks just wonderful! Even with just 2 waitresses we recieved great... service!!! Not to mention the restaurant and outside were full! My go to for Delicious pizza! Read more
I gotta stop going to these chains because they are god awful. Our pizzas were? wet? Like soggy. Our Parmesan cheese shaker had... a fly trapped in it so I can only imagine what kinds of maggots are wiggling around in there. The only thing good were thewings. Gave the dogs the leftovers. Service and staff was amazing. The fries, mozzarella sticks and pasta were great. The pizza on the other hand NO!!-The white... pizza, not impressed. The White sauce was watered down no taste, dough not fully cooked and barely any cheese on the pizza. Read more
