Much better than we expected! Went to eat here with a friend & as soon as we walked in we were greeted by the host and (possibly... manager or owner) we were a little cold so they sat us where the AC vents were not at. Temperature was much better where we wereseated. Checkered floors and dining area gave us a old school movie vibe so we were expecting burgers and fries. Our waiter,Bryce (who was really great & had wonderful customer service skills) explained the menu to us and made great suggestions! Ifyour looking for anything crab with unique options, this is your place! They offer crab fries, crab nachos, crab cakes, crab eggrolls etc. Bryce explained to us that everything crab was really good. I was hesitant because I have been to many Baltimoreseafood restaurants that have really great crab cakes. Listen- he didn?t lie! The crab cake sandwich we ordered was outstanding-large crab meat chunks, great flavor, no filler just a great crab cake on a brioche bun. The crab fries were great too! All inall, the customer service and food is more than what you would expect from a diner for sure! When you leave, you will bemesmerized by the cakes and desserts they have at the front. Very popular location with many options to choose from. I had the butchers paella which was very good. I was told the flaming... hot Cheeto Burger was not that great. However, the milkshakes are gigantic works of art and there are many other deliciousdessert choices. Make sure you bring a good appetite. Read more
Now we know why this diner has such good reputation. Very tasty food, good quantity, nice and clean ambience. Loses one star as... it took quite some time for my food to appear. I was home taking care of some business and my sister says let's go eat...boy did we. The crabcake sandwich was delightful, the... strawberry chocolate moose dessert was awesome. My Niece took me to the EC Diner what a great choice she has heard great things about the crab cakes we both had the crab cake... sandwich. This was a typical diner atmosphere crowded hustle and bustle short wait time less than 10 minutes after being seatedput drtver came over within another 10 minutes. I ordered the French Onion Soup as a starter and my niece ordered a regularsalad she was very satisfied and it was a good portion. My french onion soup looked great however there were no onions and thebroth was bland. The counter waitress Kim came over in the interim and I told her she immediately came back with a cup of thesauteed onions she was awesome very pleasant. Our waiter was nice too. The crab cakes were huge and delicious very littlefiller..I saw many huge elaborate Sundaes go by they were amazing but I had no room. The desserts looked delicious and thedessert case was unbelievable. Before our waiter came a manager stopped by to ask if we had been helped yet. That was nice.
