This was my first experience, and it was extremely lacking. I feel sorry for the owner, because the negative reviews are true... and I don't think I'll be back. The pizza was just okay; the sauce was globbed on top of the cheese and fell off as you tried toeat. My true concerns are with the staff and lack of attention to detail and customer service. It took a couple minutesstanding at the counter to be greeted or acknowledged in any way from the 4 employees. I was asked if I wanted to dine in orcarry out and when I said dine in, I was promptly informed after 8 I can only eat outside; I said that was okay. Asked for awater and paid $2.75 for a bottle. Get outside to wait and it's very dimly lit, making me feel unsafe. The two tables around uswere given free cups of water, napkins and plates. When my pizza came out (quicker than stated) the employee said absolutelynothing to me and slid the pizza across the table to me and left. I checked to make sure it was what I ordered, and being givenno accommodations to eat it there, and the poor lighting, I decided to just leave as I felt unwelcome and was clearly beingtreated differently than the two groups already eating there. (Please note, this was in no way a racial discrimination). Got thepizza home and it was nothing to write about. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be back, there's better tasting pizza nearbywith much friendlier staff and comfortable dine-in accommodations. Read more

I went there just for pick up. 1-The place looks very clean. 2- Food: To me was perfect, the pizzas I picked were "Plane Jane"... (super simple and delicious ????) the other was "Italiano Bianco". 3-Customer service: good. Polite and decent. 4-Price; fair 8"gourmet $10.40 and 12" $13. The five star is because the quality of ingredients, you can feel the fresh and natural tomatoes. So, Plain Jane is my new favorite pizza in Ellicott City. Thank you for making the difference ???? We ordered the Italiano Bianco and the Tommi Salami with an order of Wood Fired Jalapeño Boats. All were really good, my... favorite was the Tommi, but if you like a saucier pizza go with the Italiano. Read more

My oh my..... so, one of the weirdest chain of events regarding pizza I have ever encountered. Our journey starts with a bunch... of other liars, or possibly sociopaths that put things like banana slices on their pizza, posting reviews on yelp regarding thislocal pizza joint. Because, clearly, no sane or honest person would give this place higher than 3 stars. After regrettablybelieving the hype, we ordered two pizzas for delivery. "A river runs through it" and "Backyard Barbeque" were their givennames, however I shall grant them the honorary titles of Frankenstein and Casper. Please refer to the photos attached regardingthe reasoning why. After placing our order, our clearly agoraphobic delivery driver spent several minutes collecting himself anddeciding whether or not he had the fortitude to make the trip. We are aware of this particular fact because the lovely womanfrom the questionable pizza factory called us to let's us know he had repeatedly "pushed back the delivery" in five minuteintervals. This time was directly related to his actual time for pick up at the factory. And, methinks this was due to innerturmoil at the prospect have to go "outside" again. Well, he finally made it, not agregiously late, but a fair bit past the timehe was scheduled. That's when the really weird stuff started happening. He acted as if the two pizzas were nearly radioactiveand refused to assist in dislodging them from their experimental shielding protecting the driver. He left, clearly looking as ifsomeone had taken literal years off of his overall life span from the stress of seeing yet another new person. Now on the pizzasthemselves. Frankenstein, was the clear winner in the "Guess what the eff happened to your pizza" costume contest, but Casperput up a solid showing in the "why does your pizza taste better when the flavor is hidden by flour" competition. These were theobvious manufacturing defects that came from the factory. But, what really troubled me was the haphaz Read more
