This is a must try cafe! The staff is incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful (at any hour of the morning or evening). The... ambiance is warm and comfortable without being pretentious. The food is amazing!! + they have a creative variety of espressosand lattes if that's what you're into. By far my favorite place within 20 miles to do remote work, catch up with a friend, orgrab a quick bite or coffee on the go. Thanks so much to Hamza and the entire team for making this place feel like home. Read more

I willing bought the $9 breakfast sandwich since this is a "bistro bakery". I think I know a costco croissant when I see one. It... definitely was not the same as the ones on display. It was also soggy from the abundance of very wet eggs. Not a sandwich thatyou can pick up and eat. I had to get a fork and threw away a portion of the wet bread The pastries looked great. I think I'llstick to that next time. Read more

The food at Roggenart is great, I really enjoy the sandwiches and pastries. It is on the expensive side considering the menu... items are fairly simple. The service can be slightly slow but there is always the option to order ahead. I would give it 4stars, however there are many items on the menu online that are not being served in store. I will update to 4 stars when theonline menu properly reflects the website. Read more

a tasty Cheese Danish on my mind, let's try Roggenart European Bakery and Cafe Ellicott City. Lovely, fresh inviting decor,... enjoyed the dining area. I ordered my favorite scrambled eggs with cheese, not beaten, not omelette, but gently folded. Voila, perfecto, eggs presented just the way I like, with Cheese Danish, great day in the morning. I decided to check out the restaurant so I ordered both a breakfast and a lunch item for takeout. The service was good and both... items turned out to be pretty good. The restaurant is a little pricey for what it is. My Reuben sandwich was $12.99 and includeda small bag of chips. My cheese omelette was $9.99 and came with sourdough bread. For comparison, the veggie omelette is $11.99plus $1.99 if you want cheese with it. Keep in mind that you order at the counter and a tip option is displayed on the computerscreen. The baked items looked very appetizing, and I will likely try them on my next visit. Read more

Great new bakery on Rte 40 in Ellicott City (the site of the old Smashburger). Great selection of baked goods. Excellent... croissants. My wife loved the pain au chocolate. The raspberry Danish was a little on the sweet side, but very good. Lavazza coffee (which is great). Full set of coffee drinks to choose from. Multiple breakfast sandwiches. Full lunch menuas well. Ample parking. Only two outside picnic benches. Plenty of room inside. Do to high demand and short staffing, canbe a bit of a wait for hot food items. Highly recommended!! Read more

Never been here before. Picked up some pastries. Had an apple Danish. The one pictured here is a strawberry Danish. The apple... was great, looking forward to digging into the other tomorrow. Also picked up some croissants, with I think some chocolatefilling. So far so good. I'll have to come back to check out their breakfast and lunch menu. Read more
