First of all. I always give Sonic a 5. My 2 stars is only for this one visit at the Elicott City Sonic. Manager was super... friendly, staff nice, got food in good time. Everything great. Why the 2 stars? After we left and pulled off to eat, theslushies just were not as sweet. Very disappointed in this. Then 2 of our 4 pretzels were a bit hard and stale. Not much butterytaste nor salt either. So if you to this location, taste stuff first before you leave and ask for replacements if need be. Read more

Had high hopes for this location because of the franchise and its outstanding quality and value. We ordered food that was simply... uncooked. Each and every last item appeared to be rushed out. I know that this company can do better than this. Luckily enoughthe items that we ordered were meats that are heavily processed and we did not get sick. However one of the people in my groupopted to take the protein out and replace it with our own when we got home. This is simply unacceptable for any restaurant andwe are considering writing a letter to the leadership of the franchise over this. The sides were fine and are the reason that wedid not go lower on the star system. To management: it's fine to take a few minutes more on making sure meats are cooked. Wahtsa few minutes going to cost you? Trust me it's far better than a lawsuit and being forced to close over food safety violationsassuming it wasn?t done on purpose (raised eyebrow). Read more

Ordered on the app, went to a stall, checked in and... nothing. Definitely saw my name on the screen and the notification that... my server was approaching. No server came. I have never once been to a restaurant where I paid for my food and was ignored. Sawmultiple people in the same situation leaving stalls without getting their food. At least one employee seemed to be using astall for a parking space. Be warned, the only way to get service seems to be the drive thru, which is extremely slow. If thereis a change in the way service is provided, that needs to be communicated to customers. People expect the drive in stalls atSonic. They're in every commercial. In the end, the glacial speed of the drive thru was just not worth it. I cut bait on themoney I paid, but was unable to get a refund (somehow I have an email receipt for food I didn't get.) I drove down the street toCheckers instead, and I was through there in a minute. I recommend anybody considering this Sonic do the same, or really,anywhere else. This place has gone severely downhill from where it was not too long ago. I don't know if it's a staff shortageor bad management or what, but something needs fixing and it needs fixing now. Friendly, accurate, & speedy service plus generous portions. Sonic was a nice get away from the ordinary burger chain. Plenty... of options on the menu and has an old style feel to it where they take pride at this location. I will be back soon. Ordered theSuper Sonic Double Burger & Sonic Blasts M&M?s + Butterfinger.
