Again, this app needs a 1/2 star. As it was better than 4 but not quite 5. I'd go back again as it was solid. The sauce that... comes with the sambusas, magnificent. Smokey, spices and the little spoon is perfect for dooling it onto your plate and sambusa. Read more

Sooo good! Can't wait to go back! Super affordable, low key restaurant with a friendly staff, amazing food, and small store... attached. BYOB here, no alcohol on the menu. Read more

We arrived Saturday, April 2nd 2022 in the morning. We arrived at 11:30AM. We were the first customers of the day, and a nice... young lady came and got our order. The place is simple, a cafeteria styled restaurant. It is next door to an Ethiopian market. The food came out in about 20 minutes. The food was hot, delicious, fragrant, and DELICIOUS. We ordered the combo for 2 people. It came with Injera bread, and three proteins. We chose lamb, chicken, and beef, along with three vegetarian options. So.Delicious. Strongly recommend for a quick, casual meal! A hidden gem in Ellicott City! Read more

Unique presentation of coffee, served with reverence: beans fresh roasted to order, ground and brewed, then delivered to your... table in a traditional clay pot accompanied by burning incense. A wonderful, if a bit pricey, experience at a local family-ownedEthiopian restaurant. Read more

With all the good reviews on here I had to check them out. However, I was pretty disappointed with my meal. The beef was really... tough. I had to chew the beef a lot before I could swallow it. The flavor of the beef was mediocre too. The collards were verybitter and not seasoned well. The cabbage however was very good. Something weird happen too. They took back the original injerathey brought to my table, but I had already started eating it. The chef came out and said it wasn't cooked right lol. So did Ieat something that was old or something that fell on floor or something lol? I still don't know. That has never happen to mebefore at an Ethiopian restaurant. The staff was really nice though. I personally won't go back because I think Tabor inBaltimore is way better, but maybe I caught them on an off day. Read more

Enjoyed my dinning experience. Small intimate space. We were the only one's dining in at the time. Staff members friendly and... engaging when asked for meal recommendations. Would visit again. One a scale of 1 to 10, I would give the food a 7.5/ 8 food wasmade fresh, hot, and flavorful..the black hot tea was awesome. Read more

I'll admit I've only done Ethiopian dining one other time, but I think this restaurant could stand improvement. The food was... tasty and eaten as expected... communally with the fingers. But the interior of the place is tiny, kind of drab, and they arevery stingy with their napkins! Menu is very limited, and prices are a bit high. I think my next Ethiopian meal will be at abetter restaurant. Read more
