Updated to post a photo of their hours in case you are making the drive (their website shows different hours). The best sushi... within a 60 mile radius...I drive this distance just for the sushi. The fish is very fresh, the chef is very serious aboutquality. I do wish they would allow takeout. I'd order extra to take home for midnight snacks if I could. Once the sushi ishanded off to the customer, it shouldn't be the restaurant's problem if the customer decides to leave it in a hot car for anhour. It's ultimately the chef's decision though. The food and service was great. I wish I could recall our waitress's name, but she was awesome. The Char Shu was beyond... delicious. That's the Fuji mountain. Yummy. Read more
Very limited menu. Server was less than friendly and left befor order was complete. New server was very good and gave the best... service possible. Kitchen made wrong order but correct order arrived quickly. I think they are having issues getting good help.Sadly we are not going back. We like supporting local but this restaurant needs to improve to keep customers. Read more
Tiger is hands down the best sushi chef around! The fish is ALWAYS fresh. This is one of the two places that my husband and I... will eat sushi (the other place is South FL fresh off the dock)! If you are a true sushi eater, you WILL NOT be disappointed! Read more
Everything about Kasei is quality. The food was beautiful and fresh, the service top notch, and the atmosphere immersive. I... really appreciated the decor, with the custom wooden entrance, and Speed Racer on in the background. I got the spicy tuna rolland the volcano roll. We got gyoza as well, but those got eaten faster than I could take a picture. Just a wonderful experience. Read more

Lunch at Kasei on our last day in Ellijay was a wonderful experience. The fish was some of the freshest I have had in recent... years. We were served by the owner, himself, and very well taken care of. The sushi was really good! I was amazed that they evenhad bluefin tuna, which I had not had for many years in America. I wish I could go back to Kasei again right now! Lookingforward to going back there again on our next trip to Ellijay. Read more
