This ended up not being to my liking solely due to my own personal preferences but I imagine is very good for folks who like... this kind of thing. We were visiting a cabin in Ellijay and stumbled upon this gem!! I?m plant based but my friends aren?t and we all were able to... eat here and enjoy it!! The food is absolutely amazing, you can taste that the ingredients are clean and the flavor isphenomenal. The bubble tea is a must try, the owner is a beautiful soul and so passionate about her products, she?s an absolutedelight. Do yourself a favor and stop by this if you?re in the area. 10/10 recommend, was looking for comfort food after a long bike ride in a storm (haha). I was so pleased they had "vegan pho"... and my boyfriend enjoyed the Thai chicken. Nice little place. Atmosphere is cozy. Definitely my type of place. Very friendly and helpful young staff. Food was good. Price... point is quite high for what I was served. No specials even though I saw all kinds of pictures of amazing creations in thereviews which were what actually brought me in, nothing but the basics were offered that day. Poke bowls are a thing all over atthis point, nothing about what they made me will bring me back. It was a nice trial though. Celiac, gluten free and Food Allergen Safe. Not enough stars to feature this restaurant. The staff is as friendly as they... come. The food is outstanding, flavorful and amazing portions. Not only that, the owner and the staff are extremelyknowledgeable about allergens, cross-contamination and all of the food they offer to ensure all of their customers have awonderful and safe eating experience. I had the Shrimp Spring Roll and Beef Pho. As a celiac, I felt like I was eating outlike I used to and actually used my finger to swipe up the remaining sauce that was on my plate. No shame. Absolutelyoutstanding on so many levels. I am so thankful we came across this location. If you're in the Blue Ridge/ Ellijay area, don'tmiss this stop. PS. OUTSTANDING!! There aren?t adequate words to describe The Shack of Ellijay! @foodnetwork You need to come do a story on this... place! Hands-down the best poke bowl I?ve ever had and I?ve had quite a few! I also had the Thai Chicken bowl and Bao Buns bothof which I highly recommend! The food is incredibly fresh and the homemade flavors are uniquely out of this world! As though thefood isn?t reason enough to come, the owner is such a gem!
