The only thing that confuses me more than how bad this food was is how many positive reviews they got. I am by no means a food... critic, but this is by far the worst chinese I have ever had, no question. The crab rangoons were stale and had almost nothingin them. The chicken fried rice had three ingredients....chicken, rice and onions....they forgot the flavor(pictured). Theorange chicken was just....spongy. If you do decide to go here please look at how they painted their trim in the waitingarea...that is the same level of effort you will have in your food. Read more
My fiancée and I are new to the area and have been struggling to find good Chinese food. Tonight we ordered Panda Garden and... could not be more impressed! The food was fresh, hot and delicious. We will be back again for sure! Read more
Update: The menu prices have gone up a little (about 50¢ more per entree type item) and the hours a different now too. They are... only open on Tuesdays in December. Otherwise they are closed on Tuesday. Good Chinese, very friendly, very fast. The prices arereasonable and you get a good amount of food. I find it better than the other Chinese restaurant Hang's in Stafford. Be awarethat there is no indoor seating. There's some picnic tables in the grass but appears to be mostly take out. Read more
Fate brought us together tonight. We thought we were ordering from a restaurant of the same name in a different town, drove to... THaT one, then figured out what happened and drove another half hour to the RIGHT one in Ellington. They were Super nice andunderstanding and the food was awesome! Still hot and delicious when it finally made it home even. I have NO reason to evenbother trying the other one based on my experience In Ellington tonight. Thank you Panda Garden! Read more
Food is the best anywhere for Chinese. Prices are excellent. Everything is fresh and not overly oily. Best tasting I've ever had... in Ct, NY, Nj, Mich, Pa and Del. It is, however, takeout only. Prices are fantastic when you consider the quality. Call aheadand they are always ready for you in 10 minutes. Pickup of food is no longer outside. You can go in and behind virus partition. Read more
I think quite a bit of their offerings are kept frozen and flash fried on demand, but it doesn't seem to affect the quality... much. The food is pretty good all around and the people behind the counter are pleasant and welcoming. Service is always quickand the interior is kept very clean and neat. The food is typical American-Chinese cuisine with no bells and whistles and theprice is fabulous! Great restaurant to stop by if you are in a hurry, great for bringing dinner home on a long night, it is takeout with nearly fast food speed! Read more
