Just moved to Elliot Lake and thought I'd give them a try. NEVER AGAIN. Portions were small... couldn't eat the chicken balls... because the meat was so tough. Chow Mein had no flavour and the egg rolls and rice tasted burnt. I love Chinese food but won'tbe returning. My dogs can eat it tonight for dinner. Read more
The staff was friendly but the food was substandard, I guess for being the only Chinese restaurant in Elliot Lake they can get... away with below average food quality with small portions. I love that the restaurant is of old Canadian Chinese style from the1960's. My suggestion to the restaurant is to increase the freshness and lower the prices. My chopsuey was the worst I've everhad mind you the hot and sour soup was ok, my wife's chicken fried rice was dry and tasteless and my kids had chicken balls andthey hardly liked them and it all came to 57 dollars for hardly any food. The prices are outrageous considering in Toronto orLondon you can get each menu item cheaper with way bigger portions! You think they would want reasonable prices in a small town,I would recommend this location when they make improvements! Read more
