WOW. This place never disappoints. My fiancée and I make the trek up to Ellison Bay a couple times a year just to eat at the... Wickman House. The past two times we have dined, we sat at the bar and watched as Hope and Travis crafted some of the bestcocktails Wisconsin has to offer. Chef Frank’s menu is killer and always leaves us amazed and satisfied. Tonight, we enjoyedthe cast iron chicken and NY strip as our mains but loved every other plate we ordered just as much. Again, the cocktails byHope and Travis were the perfect touch to a wonderfully crafted food menu. My personal favorite is “The Beet Down” and myfiancé loves the “Alice and the Butcher.” We can’t recommend this place enough. Read more
Loved it! Super fresh and every dish was done well! Had the shishito peppers, a salad, devilled eggs, and steak. All of their... cocktails can be made in to mock tails which is such a fun option for us non drinkers ! Had 3 little with us and our server wasso kind . A hidden gem at Door Country! We've gone to DC for many years and never checked this place out but I'm so glad we did! We both... ordered the chefs cut $40 per plate (cost depends on what meat they have), a mai tai and zombie. Fresh bread is served for alltables before meal - all was very yummy! We will be back! Food was absolutley amazing, one of the best dinning experiences I've had in a while. Friendly, welcoming, and knowledgebale... service/staff as well. Make a reservation well in advance. Pork Belly Bao, Whitefish Ettoufee, and Roasted Cartots were thehighlights of the evening. The Wickman House came highly recommended by several friends as the ideal place for our 40th anniversary - always trust your... friends! While most restaurants in Door County have been serving the same menu for years and decades, the Wickman House has anew menu at least a couple of times each year. The deviled eggs du jour we're wonderful - how often can you order these at arestaurant. The orange chicken was fresh and the crispy orange skin was delectable. Read more
