Five guys always have great burgers and fries. The only down side is the price. Around 25 bucks for a bacon cheese burger... medium, med fry, which is a lot of fries, and a large drink. Restaurant was clean and the staff were very friendly and polite. Read more
This is my first review, as I have never felt more compelled to let the public know to avoid this location. I would highly... recommend going to pretty much any other location due to the simple fact that these people skimp on the fries very hard. Everyother location I have visited you can expect to get 2x the amount you ordered by the friendly staff who make you bag a frygreese soaked wonderland before you can pick it up off the counter, while the Ellisville location tend to struggle to fill upthe cup. Now you may say that my complaint may be ridiculous, but when you are paying nearly $20 for a burger and fries, and atip to boot, my bag better be sweating. Let me start by saying I love Five Guys. I've been there many times. But, last night (9/1/2021) I got take out just before... closing at 7 pm. My burger was terrible. The burger patty looked like half of it had have been left back on the grill. It wasthin and there were chunks out of it and even a piece of it was stuck to the other side of the bun. I first thought maybe it wasjust fried ground meat (like sloppy joes) that they put on there. I couldn't call or take it back because they were alreadyclosed. I went there the following morning and all I got from the supervisor was would you like us to make it again. I reiteratethat it I had ordered it last night and did not want a burger now. No other offer of reimbursement or compensation. No apology! For $7.79 for a "little cheeseburger", I expect better. 9/11/2021 update: I was contacted by the manager and she went above andbeyond to make things right. My confidence is restored in this location. Here visiting family and got in 15 min before close. The two guys that were working were super friendly and nice and gave us... drinks on the house and a extra shake. Also gave us lots of fries. If we come back again down the road we will definitely comeback! Read more
