So this is the second time I've eaten here,once last week at the st.charkes rock rd/lindberg location and the food and service... was excellent. I order the exact same thing and was disappointed at this location on manchester in ballwin. I ordered #1 withpeppermint oreo shake....the shake they gave me was small,the other one was med i guess,the shake was a mix of choc and vinswirl and no sign of any oreos! ???? The other location the shake was mixed i guess and looked all chocolate with toms of oreopieces and it was delicious,this location/ballwin was not..not one oreo piece! The photo at the drive through shows the shakeactually all white so i was originally surprised when i received it for the first time and it was all chocolate but was verygood. So the advertise pic does not reflect what you actually get or looks like. I asked the kid at the window of they made allthe food the same at all locations and he said yes...obviously thats not correct. Then he said well its supposed to be a mix andmaybe the other location/lindberg maybe made it wrong... Either way im not happy and disappointed at this location in ballwin onmanchester. Also at around the time i went/11 ish the lobby was closed and i had to go through the drive thu. I need to use therestroom and eat inside and couldnt,bad customer service for restaurants to keep closing they lobby. And my burger was salty! Read more

Drove thru and got a burger and some chicken strips. When I got home, the chicken was really good, but the burger was totally... different than what I ordered. The next day I called the number for the branch to see if I could get a replacement. Got avoicemail at first, and about an hour later I got a call from Ben, the regional manager who apolgized for the mistake, and toldme that I could go back at my convenience and it would me made right. When I got to the drive up speaker, I told them that Ispoke with Ben and they told me to pull forward. I was greeted at the window by Tole, who I assume is a shift manager, and hesaid they were aware of the mistake and were making it right. And they did. I have to say, it was a simple mistake anybody couldmake, but this entire organization was totally committed to my satisfaction. Where else does that happen? Went for lunch around 1:30 on Saturday 8/20/2022. First time at this location in Ellisville. I immediately noticed how filthy... dirty the entrance door glass was, the windows had fingerprints all over them, not to mention how terrible dirty the floor &tables were! My wife & I ordered our lunch & went to fill our drinks & there were no lids for cups- ok no big deal right. I wentto the ketchup dispenser & it was empty! Our order number was called & I picked up our tray & had to ask an employee to pleasewipe our table off which she did however I interrupted her conversation with another worker. After our table was cleaned we satdown and we were really underwhelmed with the paper thin double patties ( I?m not kidding they were paper thin! The fries werebroken bits & pieces no longer than an inch. I won?t be back to this location ever! Management needs to step it up if they wantto stay in business. Employees were on phones, sharing AirPods with one another, watching videos etc. behind the counter after manager on duty... explained this was prohibited. Male workers were roughhousing with each other behind the counter. Employees were adjusting hats,hair, and other items of clothing WITH GLOVES ON not washing hands or changing gloves after. The inside of this ?store? was morelike a zoo. Not to mention I waited 10+ minutes for 3 milkshakes (which were just sitting on the counter). So I ordered 3 combo meals. They went 1/3 on drinks (one we didn?t even get, and another entirely wrong), the fries were well... below average (chewy and cold), and the burger was dry and my fiancés was folded in half(????) Here?s the deal, if you?re looking for a big thick burger, this is not your place. If you like steak ?n Shake but think it could... be improved, this place is it. They are extremely thin burgers and absolutely delicious. The fries and seasoning is amazing andthe custard is as good as Ted Drewes. yes it cost more than McDonald?s because it?s twice as good. Ordered the single steak burgers specifically no onions. They had to remake our burgers 3 times to get the order right. The... employees were mouthing about it and very unprofessional. Poor service. Waited in long line to get order messed up! Gave me ketchup instead of mustard on burger. Asked for no onions on chili, got... onion. Bowl of chili half filled as in picture. Hotdog was hard. And to top it off got Diet Pepsi instead of regular. How can aplace cause this many errors in a trip??? I can understand 1 or 2 but jeezus! Doubt the ratings for this place is legit.
