By far the best Mexican experience I'm the St. Louis area. The portion sizes are smaller which is great because then you can try... so much of their outstanding menu. They have many vegetarian options for me and even offered to make some special for me aswell. Their servers are knowledgeable and don't be afraid to ask questions. We had an amazing experience at Malinche. I reserved a table for my boisterous family of 9, added another person last-minute,... and the staff was nothing but welcoming and accommodating. From the chef's welcome gift of potato flauta, to the server'spatient description of *every* menu item, to the birthday shots...everything was fabulous. Shout out to Carla our server, ourhost, our bartender, our chefs!! I've never been to a Mexican restaurant with such intentional flavors as Malinche provided. This is A high end mexican restaurant. The quality is extremely good with small portions and very pricey food. Del trompo was... extremely goof The strawberry sauce on the churro did not go well together at all The chile relleno was extremely bland and byfar the worst thing we had today. Read more
Probably one of the easiest 5-star reviews I've made in awhile. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Don't... expect run-of-the-mill Mexican fare - these are composed, tapas-style dishes made to share. I won't do any of the dishesjustice by trying to tell you about them in any detail. Just know they're delicious. The menu changes every 6 months and inMondays they have a street food menu, and Tuesdays they have taco specials. Read more
Malinche is simply amazing! Food and drinks are delicious and service is excellent! The atmosphere is pretty nice too, it?s just... a happy place. It?s not the ?typical? chips and salsa Mexican restaurant which makes it unique and provides you with a realculinary experience. In my opinion, it?s the best Mexican restaurant in St Louis. Wow! What a delight to experience this wonderful taste of pure heaven! Each dish is marvelous and the drinks are not your... typical margarita you get at every other Mexican restaurant. The service is superb. Small and intimate and I love the mariachimusic playing (but if you are seated at a table under the tv it can be a bit loud). I can?t wait to go again! Read more
