Phoenecia has some of the best sfihas (lebanese meat pie that?s a cross between flatbread, meat with pita, and pizza) in St.... Louis. The pies and zaatar are made to order, and the chef takes his time in baking them fresh after you call?. They come outpiping hot and remind me of some of the highest quality meat pies that i had in sao Paulo. I?m not sure if there?s anywhere inthe STL metro area where you can get sfihas quite as fresh (and made from scratch). My wife and I love getting carry out from Phoenicia. The hummus is the best I have ever had and the chicken shawarma sandwhich... is delicious. This is very much a family owned and operated restaurant. At a time when customer service is at an all time low inthe US, the owner of Phoenicia puts is heart and soul into the food and service. My husband and I ordered takeout from Phoenicia. It's a very popular restaurant with great food. We ordered the Meat Lovers... Combo #2. It comes with everything you'd want or need. Baba ghanouj, fattouch, Sujuk, pita arayes, 3 spinach cheese pies, 1kofta and 1 chicken kabob sandwiches. We had leftovers as well. I enjoyed everything in the meal!
