Haven't eaten much here, but it's a great pub. Service is great, good vibe. Great place to meet up with friends.

There are just so many good things to write about this place, I hope I do not miss any details. We (myself, wife & 3 kids) went... here for dinner on Saturday, 10/01/22 at 7P. We got a table right away, despite the day and time. The waitress was friendly,and took our entire order via memory (I always find that impressive). The atmosphere was relaxing and fun. The prices were veryreasonable, especially considering the portions and quality of food. Now, for the food. We ordered the house chips with housesauce as an appetizer. The chips were fresh, warm, perfectly crispy, and the sauce was some sort of onion dip that was reallygood. My son and I ordered the reuben soup, and it was fantastic. It had rye croutons in there that somehow remained crunchythroughout the last bite. The meat was tender and clearly just made. My wife and I had the draught Down East Cider...man, thiswas one of the best ciders I've ever had...I need to find this in the stores! My young daughters shared the chicken tenders andfries. Chicken was well seasoned, crisp on the outside, moist on the inside, and the crinkle fries were the same (I'm not goingto lie, I stole some, as they were that good). My wife had a chicken wrap (can't remember which one) with sweet potato fries. I did not try it, but it looked delicious, and she loved it. Now, for my favorite part! The broasted chicken, broasted friesand coleslaw. The last time I had legit broasted food, was 32 years ago at Broasted Chik off 124th & North Ave. Man, this wasamazing! Perfectly crispy on the outside, and tender and moist on the inside...it was piping hot, so I know it was made freshto order. The coleslaw was also really good, not that over mayonaise stuff. Stopped in here for a quick bite before our 7:00 show at Sunset Playhouse. Our waitress was fun, friendly and helpful. The cod... fish fry, Irish Reuben witn sweet potato fries and Shepherd's Pie were all very good, although personally I would ask them tohold the cheese topping on the Shepherd's Pie next time. Parking is tragic. So make sure you have a plan. This is a neighborhood place where neighborhood people come. The one very tall... gentleman in the puffer vest was super friendly and helpful. I don't know if he was another server or busser, or kitchen staff.Our actual server seemed a little over booked. She wasn't rude, necessarily, but certainly was unamused to be working. Or maybeit was just us. Depending on the apps you get they are hit or miss. Mushrooms were good. Loved the batter instead of thebreading most places have. The wings were really crispy even with the sauce on them. The chips needed salt or flavor. This was arecurring theme of the meal. The broasted chicken was flavorless. There looked like there was seasoning on it, and it wascertainly crispy, but it just fell flat. Same with the awesome looking wedges you get. No seasoning. The shepherds pie wasunusual, and it was also super greasy. That was less of a problem and more of just something i noticed. I would come back forthose mushrooms and drinks if someone wanted to go. Good for a quick bite. The chicken caesar wrap, reuben sandwich & nachos (with chili!) are super good. I tried the fish fry once... for takeout and it was raw inside so I definitely wouldn?t get that again? Read more
