I go here often as I'm already in Elmira for work, EVERY SINGLE time I go in I watch the staff wear the same gloves and touch... different people's subs, cross contaminating everyone's food... and they give me attitude when I ask them to put on fresh glovesto make my food ... Don't bother going during the day and get your food in the evenings. Day staff all have rotten unwarranted attitudes which is... nothing new at this location and tolerated by the day manager. They literally couldn't say hello if their lives depended on it,attitude immediately. Evening kids are way better and make fabulous subs attitude free. I would have given a 5star if the daystaff weren't pushy and rude. Read more

When a trainee is having trouble with something they should be shown nicely how to do something in front of a customerand then talk to them after about what they did wrong. This has got to be the worst place ever for service! Just because Jodi has been managing there for like 20 years doesn't mean... you can do what you want and not address staff issues, regardless if they are your kids or not. We have sent a letter tocorporate today as well. We have also lived in the area for 20+ years and this Sunday was the final straw. Daniella is so rude,she should not be training employees in that store. she rushes you in and out so she can get back to her phone and is alwayshuffing and puffing as your deciding what you want. In asking for the managers name and number she yells across the storewhiles servicing another customer "IM NOT GIVING YOU HER HOME PHONE NUMBER THATS PRIVATE" i said i never asked for her homenumber, just her name and number. She then said well she works mon to fri 7-2 you can talk to her then, i said ok great but canyou please write down her name and number for me. she had one of the other girls do it. She is so rude and to say the least,was not happy making our subs and the contents showed that! Hate the behavior of most of those people. So rude! Read more

Not overly impressed with the girl working today. She was quite rude to me when picking up my food. She walked away from the... pick up side so i didnt want to stand there as the lady who was currently ordering was heading to the till. And the girl workingrudely said thats the pick up area so you dont have to stand in the line. She couldve been polite but nope. Poor customerservice. Read more

Subway?s slogan is ?EAT FRESH?. I visited this store today asking for a Tuna sub. The tuna salad looked ugly having a dark brown... color and being very dry. I told the staffs there that this is not fresh. I was told that the salad was 2 days old, less than 72hours as per company policy. I completely understand employees? comments, it is not their fault. They did their job answering tomy concerns. To be honest, I really don?t care about policies and other similar rules. All I need is to eat fresh at a Subwaystore. My wish is also aligned with Subway?s vision. Unfortunately, this is only at their declarative level, it seems the sloganmeans nothing more than a marketing manipulation (at least from tuna salad perspective). Who cares about number of days or hoursif a product is not fresh? It can be valid as shelf life but NOT FRESH for sure. It is true that tuna sandwich is not heavilyordered. If you cannot keep it fresh as per your vision and mission, discontinue this product! At least the eaters of Tuna likeme don?t need to permanently argue with Subway?s employees. It is only about the chance to order the Tuna in the day or the nextday the salad was made. Read more

I really love when the one guy says "good evening" like dracula everytime i come in. love the friendlyness. I especially... appreciated when melissa cut my subway sandwhich into 3 peices instead of 2. however, one time while i was at subway, i droppedmy change on the floor and jordans brother picked it up and put it in his pocket. i was extremely dissapointed to see that noneof the subway workers said anything while i was robbed right in front of their eyes. eithr way i love subway and emplyees aresweet Read more
