I ordered hot goatpeppe soup a few days ago... First of all the soup was $18 and some change. I thought for that price I would... have gotten a large container but instead I got the smallest size. I ask the girl if that was the right size container and shesaid they only served one size. I ordered the soup anyway, because I was recommend by a friend of mine... The soup wasHORRIBLE!!! Very salty and greasy. That's my first and last time ordering from that restaurant, because these people food aretoo prices for the bad quality of food that they served they need to learn how to cook. I don't know how someone could mess upsoup. The soup was so nasty I had to throw it away???????????? Read more

Some of the reviews were worrisome but I decided to give it a try anyways. Ordered a meat pie , jollof with assorted meat , and... Okra soup with goat and pounded yam... Definitely did not regret it. Both meals were well seasoned and prepared to perfection!!Looking forward to ordering again and trying some other dishes **Update: Went back to try the Egusi with pounded yam. INLOVEEE!! This time I went to the actual store instead of Uber eats and maps brought me to the wrong address, I got lost andcalled the restaurant the woman at the register was super nice on the phone and in person, great customer service. So far sogood, I'd give this place more stars if I could. PS: Google has the right address but if you get lost it's next to jerk hut Read more

Holy damn. I found my fave Nigerian spot in all of NYC!!! Don't walk but run to this small woman owned take out spot and enjoy... really authentic and delicious Nigerian delicacies! There are a couple of tables to sit and eat at but they truly pack it with alot of love and care that you can wait the time to eat it at your home. Everything was packed so that nothing would spill duringtransit and a lot of it even stayed hot in the 25 mins it took me to get back to my place too! Yes, I WILL travel for goodfood! The beauty of Nigerian food is that a lot of it is vegetarian/vegan based and so it's great for omnivores, veg lovers andall that in-between. Their Egusi soup is flavored perfectly and the consistency is just so that eating it with their pounded yamor fufu just hits all the right spots. Their jolloff rice was spicy enough and the stewed goat meat was tender and unctuous. Themeat pies they offer reminded me of the countless ones I would eat from the roadside vendors when I visited Nigerian so manyyears ago. This spot is clean, efficient and everything is made to order so nothing tastes freezer burned or stale. Definitelygive this spot a try and there won't be any regrets! Eat local! Read more
