One of our favorite places to eat when we come to NY for church services! Everything on the menu is amazing and the service is... usually really good! Great atmosphere but the food was meh. I asked for a Cuban sandwich. Bread was squishy instead of the traditional panini style... presentation. Coffee was horribly bitter and I like strong coffee. Back to this sandwich, do you see the lack of wow?! Ourwaiter never checked on us and we had to get up to give the hint that we needed the check. Prices were ballooned, even for theWestchester area. We stopped here for a quick bite to eat. I had a delicious grilled cheese sandwich with tomato and sweet potato fries. My sister... had a sumptuous matzo ball soup, a BLT, and fries. Everything was very good. The food was served quickly. The waiter wasattentive. Read more
Not a great experience. I came in pretty late , around 11pm. The booth they sat me in was sunken in (on the seat) and... uncomfortable. The food came out just fine but needed extra tlc— the home fries seemed to have been sitting there all day andrubbery. The omelette itself needed seasoning just to be enjoyable. Nice cosy diner. No frills standard all encompassing menu with a large selection of both meat and vegetarian options. This place... is located just a 5 minute walk off the "North Trail" so makes a great place to freshen up and recharge after doing your dailymileage on the trail. There is plenty of parking on site. Eldorado was an enjoyable dining experience, albeit a little expensive for the simple fare we ordered. My silver dollar pancakes... were light fluffy perfection! They offer a wide selection of milkshakes and desserts. Although I did not try any of them theylooked fantastic. The staff was friendly and prompt. If you are looking for a bite to eat after 10:00 pm this is the spot foryou because they are 24 hour. Read more
