I had take-out twice in July and lunch again here in November. This is my go-to restaurant now when I come and visit family in... Irvington. The place was easy to find and parking was easy and free. When I had lunch in the restaurant it was not too crowdedand hence not too loud. The chicken vindaloo and the chicken tikka masala were all delicious. Note though that the prices are alittle high, but I'm okay with that because the food was delicious. Also, if you're eating there, or at home, or in a hotel withreal cutlery then you'll be fine. The plastic spoon and fork that comes with the to-go meal is probably the cheapest availablefrom restaurant depot or wherever they do their shopping. Read more

Ambiance is okay, nothing like its high end. Dont go by Michelin logo on their website, they may be a mention in 2020 but not... anymore. Infact, that michelin logo set my expectations. For the quality of the food may be average but for the price andexpected out of a authentic punjabis offering of paneer tikka masala or daal makhani (did not taste the slow cooked creamy asthey claim on the menu) and laccha paratha (had to confirm if this was laccha paratha :-) ). For me that is not worth theexperience. The menu reflects the kitchen style, mix and match the meats and curry. Wakeup RaaSa, dont flash the michelin logoand live in your past. At the end of the day its about authentic food experience which was missing, my expectations may behigher and this is a one visit experience for me, will i go back , maybe drive somewhere longer to find better indian food. Food is great, service not a fan. People can be nicer! Won’t even greet, the guy literally told me to stand on the side... because a party of 5 came in ???? Read more

The food here is very nice. A little pricey compared to regular food elsewhere, but it's worth it once in a while. The ambiance... is great too.. Retro Indian music, lamb curry and cocktail is unbeatable ! ???? Read more

Delicious. Friendly owners who will take special requests by phone. I like Punjabi kadhi a lot and they were happy to have it... for buffet the Sunday of the following week to accommodate me, for example. It’s a nice, cozy and well-lit joint. During theday, some bring their laptops for working lunches and at night it’s nicer without being too formal. They are also convenientlyacross the street from Bhavik, an Indian grocery store so I always like to hit both so I get a great Indian meal and ingredientsto try to replicate the goodness at home. My first time dining at this restaurant. It’s a pleasant spot with well laid out tables, and the manager is certainly on his... game. I asked him for his recommendation as I wanted to try the hottest curry they make here. I started with the chili shrimpdish which was tasty followed by the chicken vindaloo. The food, portions, presentation, and service is excellent. Must admitthough it’s rather odd to be sitting in a restaurant again with other diners spotted around. If you are going to truly enjoyIndian, you have to eat it as soon as it comes out of the kitchen. I would certainly recommend this spot in Elmsford, and willdefinitely come back here. Update: I have eaten here many times since posting the first review. RaaSa is my go to spot and thechicken vindaloo really is the very best in Westchester. Totally recommend this restaurant! Read more
