Excellent variety of menu choices. The food tasted excellent. The quantity of servings is enough for multiple meals. If you’ve... never been here to eat, try it. Sample different items. The desserts are the perfect touch to a great meal! Read more

I enjoyed kebab and humus really. Definitely will be back again. It’s pretty clean and they have baklava.

1) rice was hard as rock 2) they have tzaziki sauce as a side 3) literally give you half a palm size of food for each order... (look at photo of chicken) Go to Mykonos, they’re better. Read more

I previously went to Mediterranean deli in chapel hill and really liked it. They have Turkish style doner (not really) but it... was good. We tried chicken and lamb kebab, they were delicious. I really like their sides; food you can get by pound or asplatter. Sauté Mushroom and Mediterranean Quinoa! Next time we will try other vegetarian items. Read more

I had heard praise for Mediterranean Deli from devotees of their Chapel Hill location (including folks with Lebanese roots, so... you know it’s legit). When when the Elon location opened, I jumped at the chance to try it! This location occupies the entirestreet level of a new building (built 2016-2017) in downtown Elon near the beautiful main campus of the eponymous university. The variety of dishes is staggering and includes influences from Greece, Turkey, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, and beyond! Thereare plenty of vegetarian options and dishes are labeled for common allergens. Pick up a slip of paper and a golf pencil when youenter, write down what you want as you walk along the case, and hand it to the cashier at the other end. Staff will then bringyour food to your table. I managed to ask the guys behind the case a few questions and got a sample of one dish, but theydidn’t seem eager to help or interact with the customers. The food runner was much friendlier and happy to answer questionswhen she wasn’t serving. Don’t miss the complimentary condiments bar for all the tahini, tzatziki, olives, and Lebanesepickles you can eat! The restaurant is nicely decorated with many Middle Eastern influences. There’s also a grocery sectionwith fresh produce, fresh meats, packaged groceries, and Ziyad brand spices. Mediterranean Deli is a great addition to thisbustling college town and the surrounding community and meets at least one need for a trip to one of the nearby larger cities! Read more
