Great Mexican restaurant in the small town of Eloy. Excellent food and great service. Chicken fajitas for a big hit with our... group. The Eloy tacos were unique and delicious. Chimichangas were also fantastic. Will need to stop by here again when drivingthrough here. Read more
Had dinner as a group of 6 friends. Had a shredded beef chimichanga, absolutely huge, was really good. So much leftover to get... through. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Three had smothered burritos, one a tostada, one had flautas. They are closed now forsummer break until August 2022. Read more
Found this place while waiting for my next delivery at the Pilot truck stop. So glad I decided to give it a try. As I looked at... the menu, I glanced at the plates the waitress was serving the other customers. Boy.. they look good!! It being a Sunday, Iordered the all you can eat menudo. It was Delicious. I'm coming back for dinner and trying the Green Chile burrito. I highlyrecommend this place to Truck Drivers. There's parking alongside railroad tracks in front of the restaurant. Read more
This cute restaurant was just a short distance off hwy i10. We stopped on our way to CA. The owner is really sweet and... welcoming. I love the colorful decor and her collection of local art on the walls. We ordered fajita with a side of rice andbeans. We ate inside but they also have a drive up window for the take away food. Everything was very tasty and fresh. Casual, affordable dining makes this a great stop for travelers. Read more
La Paloma is one of those places that makes me very happy that Google Maps exists. As first-timers in Arizona, we were looking... for a place to eat, after having left Tucson in the morning, and made stops at Saguaro National Forest and Picacho Peak StatePark. La Paloma isn't far from the highway, but I'm not sure which random turns we might have otherwise made if we didn't haveour maps' guidance. The restaurant, and the folks working there are very welcoming. Bright colors and friendly service madethis a substantial step up from our usual 'near the interstate' expectations. We visited on a Sunday, when they have a specialon Posole and Menudo. My wife had a large bowl of the Posole, which, for her, turned out to be equivalent to the 'all you caneat' option. (her leftovers reheated wonderfully after we arrived in Phoenix). My Carne Asada tacos were perfect, accompaniedby a refreshing Horchata. Our server joked about her kids, who were keeping her company in the restaurant that day, each beingable to knock off at least one huge bowl of the Posole. I always like it when it's apparent that co-workers in a restaurant getalong well. Getting to experience family members doing so was a special treat - they were having a sweet conversation when Ibrought the check up to the cash register. Another highlight at La Paloma was a placard on the table, with information aboutgetting involved in helping foster children - a wonderful piece of community involvement to see! So, food that has a fresh, homemade feel to it, relaxed and friendly service, and a bright, comfortable environment makes La Paloma a perfect place tovisit, regardless of your reason for being in Eloy. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Pinal County. The rice alone is to die for. The Smothered Burrito is fantastic and the... staff are amazing. Take time to look at the amazing artwork inside! In short, if you don't like this place you have poor taste. Read more
