Ordered there last night, it was a mistake. I ordered general tso and he ordered sesame chicken. The chicken was overcooked,... tasted like it sat for hours cooked and then they reheated it. The broccoli wasn't at all cooked and tasted like dirt, and thecream cheese in the crab Rangoon tasted sour. We spent $40 on dinner and couldn't even stomach half of it. Ended up making ussick. Hunan is great, they do an excellent job of handling high traffic while still getting you what you want! I haven't had even... close to all their menu items so I can't give five stars as of yet, I had the chicken with vegetables and it alone was worthy offive stars, the sauce was perfect and the veggies were crispy and delicious! The egg roll I had was much more than I wasexpecting and the hot and sour soup was loaded with flavor! Hunan offers drive thru carryout as well as walk in orders so that'sconvenient for everyone. I'll definitely visit again because it's delicious and the portions are enough for two meals which isdouble the pleasure! Read more
My wife and I went there last night for dinner which have many times in the past. She order Sweet and Sour Shrimp. Her food came... and it was cold the shrimp was not cooked done and breading was not done. When we paid another customer was there registering acomplaint about the same thing so registered our complaint and the lady talked as though she would adjust the bill, which neverhappened. Her comment was "if it happens again have it sent back and cooked done." My problem here is based on her answer andthe way she said it. We never complain anywhere about meals in the past we just don't go back. Well Hunan's you most likely havelost a loyal customer just based on the comment made at the cash register. I believe the cashier was the manager or owner. Allshe really worried about was taking the money and not our complaint. Read more
Jason, the catering manager is the NICEST person I've met in a very long time, and I work in customer service. We had a huge... catering order for 80 people. Not only did the food arrive on time, it was hot, fresh, organized, and Jason set it all up. THEN,we he found out I was a vegetarian & didn't order any vegetable items, he went back to Hunans & delivered me a deliciousvegetarian meal. I mean, really?! Clean and well kept restaurant. Service was great and attentive. Food subpar. I felt like the General Tso's was literally a to... go order that sat in the window for an hour before I ordered it for dine in- and they found someone to serve it to. Fried ricehad the texture of grape nuts. Hot and Sour soup and eggroll were hot, fresh and completely average. Main course not so much. I had high hopes walking in and seeing how nice the place was. Not impressed. Tried it, as my normal place is closed for remodeling. Fried rice was cold and crunchy. Tasted like it was made a... couple days ago. Hot and sour soup is nothing more than egg drop soup with pepper sauce added. $2 for a shot of soup. Read more
Hunan is friendly, fast, very clean, and efficient workers. And we love the food. Take the time to Google when you're in town.... It's worth the stop. We are definitely making our go to Chinese restaurant. We just moved here and just got to Hunans tonight.Mmmm. Mmmmm. Good! Read more
