Ate there today for lunch. Still have indigestion tonight at 11:45 p.m. Had 3 tacos. Grease from the meat or deep fried... shells equaled up to about 4 tablespoons puddled on my plate. Never again. Disappointed!! Read more

I started going to Barbosa's in the 50's when it was in a house on 10th street. I think their tacos are the best. I don't live... in St. Joe anymore but I always stop by and get my fix when I visit. Read more

Love this place. Great food, pork burrito, choice of three and strawberry daiquiri is our favorite.

Absolutely my favorite Mexican restaurant! I live in Lincoln, Ne and oftentimes catch myself daydreaming of Barbosa's guacamole... with the best homemade chips you can find, as well as their melt-in-your-mouth beef enchiladas. The price is right, and I havebeen coming here for probably 27 years (relatives). Highly recommend! Read more

This was terrible. Beautiful old building falling apart. This could have been the first clue, but a lot of good places are run... down. They charge for chips and salsa. This should have been the first clue. No one does that. (The chips were weird, salsa wasokay.) Everything else was bad. Strangely limited and overpriced menu, which the waitress did not seem to know. Asked for waterthat never came. Margaritas that didn't seem to have any alcohol. I love Mexican food. I eat it a lot. I cook it a lot. If Iever do not clean my plate there is a problem. Nothing was good. Cheese, not cheese and onion, enchilada was stuffed withsomething akin to Velveeta. Chicken enchilada was stuffed with something like chicken salad. The pork stuff they poured on topof it was initially good, but it had a weird aftertaste to it. Taco was bland and greasy. I asked for a to go box to avoid theserver's questions and threw it into the dumpster I parked next to. Read more
