The hostess was awesome. She brought our food instead of the server, which we hardly saw the server at all. So gave the tip to... the hostess as she went above and beyond. Also when the food arrived it was cold and there was a hair in mine so when it wasbrought back out it was actually hot minus the hair. It had been years since I had went there and likely be years before Ireturn unless it's to just get some of the delicious pie, cinnamon rolls, or muffins. Read more
I have always liked Perkins. But, was there yesterday and was disappointed. I ordered the 55 Plus Turkey with dressing,... cranberry sauce, 4 pieces of asparagus and a salad. The dressing had no flavor at all, just wet bread. Dressing is one of myfavorites. Was so disappointed. Then on the way out I bought 3 muffins, 3 free because they've always been so good and moist.They are extremely dry, had to drink something when I ate one. Trish is a great server. My 86 year-old father and friends eat here several times a week. Trish and the other servers are... always ready with a smile. Trish knows her regular customers by name. She asks about her customers lives and genuinely listensto their responses. Trish knows the orders of these regulars before they tell her. I'm so pleased my dad has a great place togather. Read more
Jenny Lee is our favorite waitress. She always has the funniest, happy attitude and she is a very hard worker. She always talks... about how she loves her job. She always knows our drink order the min we walk in...it's great. We always ask for her. Read more
Worst service ever!! Traveling & was so hungry. Was seated at a dirty booth & had to move ourselves to a clean booth right... behind. Sat there 15-20 minutes without being acknowledged although there were only 2 other tables in our waitress?s section (5people at one who were served & 2 people at the other who came after us). Waitress came out several times to walk around thedining floor & to the front/back numerous times while casually drinking her own beverage. Looked at us several times but neverbothered to approach although we were close by the 2 individuals (seated after us/drink order later taken) with the dirty boothdirectly in between us. I finally walked to the front & waited for assistance at register - only to be asked by another waitressif I needed something. ?Um. Yeah. A waitress!!? She finally came out & took our order after denying she ever saw us sitting atthe table which was impossible to miss us sitting in her section. Food was good (Simple BLT). However, she never came back torefill drinks or tend to our table. She later took my moms drink without asking if she was finished or if she wanted a refill. Ilater asked her for two to go cups & my mom asked for water since she took her lemonade?. waitress brought mine but brought mymoms water in a plastic dining cup after providing us the check. Smh. We didn?t bother asking for the to go water again. Went topay but had to wait at counter a long time. We eventually had to go to back to interrupt employees chitchatting in order to paythe check. This place needs new management & also needs to review all the employees performance. Horrible experience. Will notgo back there ever. Read more
Service was slow especially being only customer at the time, first set of utensils the fork had a good bit of food still on it,... originally ordered a glass of sweet tea but it tasted like it had started to ferment, reminded me of when I've had homemade teathat's been in the fridge for a couple weeks but the server was nice and swapped out my drink and utensils and apologized. Great food and quick service. Our server was friendly and attentive and our breakfast hit the spot. We'll be back.
As usual I ordered a burger but the difference here being something offered I haven't seen in a while a breakfast burger. The... workers were friendly and quick. The environment was friendly and clean. The presentation of the food was great. The taste Iswhy I'm giving them a 5 star instead of 6. I understand places like this have to cater to their market customer but after howgreat everything else was I was kinda disappointed when the food was kind of bland, nothing a little salt and pepper didn't fixbut that was my only quam for this being my first time eating here.
